Group Ride (Sat & Sun)

I am wanting to try another ride on the East side of the hudson.  Any takers?  I'm trying to develop a route but frankly I've never really ridden out there.

I'm thinking an out and back to Peekskill.  There is Metronorth in Peekskill if you want to train it (also a brewery restaurant next to train station) but the ride as I've mapped it so far is 79 miles round trip to and from my house which is at GWB, so add 26 miles round trip to brooklyn I think, 5300 feet of climbing?

This is what I had in mind for tomorrow. Steady peace, not too fast, pushing efforts only in the climbs. 7:45-8:00 GWB...? it is going to be fun!
@GiacomoVischi, I'm down but not sure the entire ride .... need to save some juice for Floyd on Tuesday
@GiacomoVischi see you at GWB
@GiacomoVischi

Looks like fun, but I can't get out that early.

@Brendan Rigby And others.

I can take you on a wormhole on the west side of the GWB.  Different than others.  If others are up for it, I could cross back and show the South and North County Trailways, then around a Rockefeller estate north of Tarrytown and back.

I can get to the GWB by 9:05, Jersey Side

@mugwump @GiacomoVischi

good luck tomorrow!  i'm sleeping in in anticipation of finding a sweet, awesome, paved, ride that my wife and I can do
The Giacomo orchards group is meeting gwb @815
Will,Scott,Philip and myself. Awesome ride, we did put some push on the hills! Great job all together!
I was solo.  And engaged in Wormhole fun.

I didn't see 9W at all, except to cross it.

Short ride, but still hilly, and no mountains.  3,000' of climbing in 55 miles.
Last big one before GMSR folks. Who is riding long and hilly miles this weekend?
I'm in for Sunday.
i'm in for tomorrow, provided i don't get roped into working tomorrow as well
I'm down to get towed around tomorrow - I'll bring my own bungee cord
8 a.m. BB 9 a.m. GWB work for everyone? Former KCC hardman Jeff Owens might even make an appearance!

I'll be shopping something along the lines of GWB->River Road->Clausland->Water Tower->Rockland Lake->9W->River Road->GWB. But I'm open :D.
I'm coming but running about 10 mins late
I'm on my way to the George Washington Bridge, but an accident and construction on the Cross Bronx means I won't get there till 910
Anyone up for a Wormhole ride Sunday?  One where we're not on 9W at all?

I can come up with many routes, but I was thinking of one that would be 3-3.5 hours long.  Probably hilly without being mountainous.
Cross-posting here – we have a HUGE group signed up for the recruitment ride this Saturday!

There is a chance we'll roll as two groups, so it's all hands on deck. We need at least 4 members to assist with leading the groups.

As a reminder, recruitment rides are strictly no drop

9am GWB.
In for the recruitment ride, racing CP so willing to do something less spirited.
Here's the Wormhole ride you missed.
