That’s the last time I use silk track tubulars on a rainy winter ride. But for real, thank you for all the roadside assistance and patience today, gents.
Anyone know if Ben is a member?

Yes @BenDavid joined not long ago.
Assuming it's not raining in the morning, I'm planning on rolling from BB at 8:00a. Anyone else looking for a Saturday morning ride?
I may depending on a bunch of moving pieces. Don't wait for me but I'll try to post here if I'm coming.
Sounds good. We'll miss the warm weather—windchill mid-30s at Piermont.
I won’t make it. Going to turn around early. Have a good ride and stay warm!
I'll be out Sunday at 9 at the GWB.  Looking to ride long.  If the group is willing, I'm thinking wormhole and getting back to the GWB around 12:30-45.

Can always point people back if they're willing to come along as far.
I’m in for Sunday

I barely survived this mornings ride. These two guys are strong as heck!! Thank god I took these shots in beginning 😳.
Great ride this morning with JP and Josh. It was nice to get out on some new roads and get in some solid miles with a decent amount of climbing. Hopefully the weather will continue to cooperate and we can get some more rides like this!
It was just the three of us today.  Fun wormhole action out to within a stone's throw of the Supercross course.  We didn't see 9w at all.  It was hilly, but it was mostly lots of false flats with the occasional short, steep pitch. 3500' of so of climbing for me, which mean Josh had a good bit more, thanks to going over a bridge twice to get to and from Brooklyn.  (good news/bad news: on this basic route, we bypassed plenty of hills.  When it's warmer and we're all in better shape, this route can be hillier)

Saw a few vultures; the  jumped out from under some shrubs.

Some driver in a pickup got close to me and then punched the accelerator, pushing out lots of dark smoke into my face. Guess that's the poor mans 'rollin' coal.'

A few notes for @Joshua Wilson on using a power meter.  It can both help during the ride and for later analysis.  On the screen I prefer to see for most riding, I have both kilojoules and normalized power as two of my metrics.  Kilojoules are there to remind me to eat, which should be done at least hourly.  NP I have there as a way to see how hard the ride is; this is for both during the ride and later.  During the ride, it helps me think about how hard I'm going, and as I've had it on the screen for ages, I know what various efforts are typically like for me.  Post ride, NP is a great way to compare various rides--take a look both at the NP for your total ride, and create an interval so you can see what the NP was from the GWB to the GWB.  That, at least for now, will be a benchmark for how hard a ride you can sustain.  And when you can go past this, you'll know your stronger.
In light of tomorrow looking to be crazy nice my aim is to be at GWB at 9am if anyone would like to join!
I may join you @Nathaniel Picard Busky
Temps temps are going to be in the 40s. I’ll be there tomorrow
I’ll be there as well.

Dress for {feels like} 4 in Piermont.
I hope you meant 40 and not 4
I hope he meant 4°C which would be about 40°F, right?

Weather Underground is reporting it’ll be around 48°F.

It’s supposed to be cool but dry tomorrow morning. Anyone interested in a long ride?
Piermont for me. Anyone need a Conti trainer tire for their trainer? I think it'll last until the sun explodes.
Compliments of Ian Ellis. I can bring to GWB, fits in pocket.

A bit under the weather now, but if I feel good enough tmr, would love to join
