Kissena Sunday ride will have special treats and prizes this week! We will do the normal ride but there will be opportunities to pick-up a pair of kissena socks or some other sweet prize.

So I am not diverting from the Kissena ride on Sunday. That is happening and there is footwear on the line! So don't miss it.

I don't think I can get out as late as you. I htink I'm going to have to roll by 8am from my place in Harlem. Gonna be pretty chilly, so I'll probably just ride steady hard for 3.5 hours or so, big ringing the flats, ramping up a bit on the hills, but probably not going all-out, so as not to overheat. Not certain of that yet, but looking to be that way. Not certain of route either.

Cold isn't bad because it is going to be dry. Look for JP's description of riding in 15 degree weather last year. Wear layers and don't stop too long. Also listen to your body if you start getting too warm, unzip a little and cool off. Sweating can cool you too much.

29, dry and sunny. That shit is easy to ride in. Nothing compared to Beacon for example. Anyway, my fat and out of shape ass will be there on Saturday and Sunday. Because friends don't let friends ride the trainer alone on a dry day in the winter.

That said, just a hint of moisture and I'll be picking out douching accessories indoors with Ragot at CVS.

The reason I can do Beacon is because I don't waste my energy doing cold rides in the winter. I think that my focused rides work pretty well. "Its the quality of quantity, not the quantity of quality." - Andy Coggan.
