A tip on understanding Harry code: just read it fast and avoid parsing the text as you go-- you get 95% of what he's saying. If you slow-down or go back and try to identify his exact intention for each word, symbol, glyph, and phrase --it all unravels and you lose the meaning message.

I think Neil Ross and I are heading over the Bridge again tomorrow (President's Day Family Men w/o Families Ride) if anyone's interested.
Stearns, what time will you be at the Jersey side of the GWB today (Feb 20)? I might be able to join.
We're leaving BK now, by car. Parking up near Bridge, or Strictly or somewhere. txt if you're heading out and we'll meet: 718-501-8666.
If find reading Harry's posts sort of like Calvino's "If on a winter's night..." intriguing to spite the hieroglyphic twists :)
+1 for the HarryGlyphics fan club. Good stuff.

Harry - thanks for the post, as you had me so confused yesterday. First I saw you come from the East onto Fort Washington Ave on the way to the bridge, then on the way home, when the whole Brooklyn crowd went right from 168th onto Fort Washington, you kept going.
I was like "isn't Harry from Bklyn...soooo confused"

Hey folks - I won't *exactly* be joining y'all on the big club ride Sunday; gotta go to Nyack for internship stuff. That said, I will meet up at the appointed time, dorky backpack and all, and tag along for as long as our paths are entwined. I'll be doing a 9W straight-shot.

I'll be doing the same thing Saturday, incidentally, if anyone wants to join - probably 9.30 from NJ side of GWB.
Big Party on Sunday. Everyone out.

We'll have the group break down into categories at the end and send the II-IIIs out to Rockland, the IV-Vs to Piermont, with the sick heading home. Everyone does a rotating paceline on 9W for the home stretch.

Dan said he was going to offer up clean socks.
See you all there. Even if its chilly.
Looking forward to it....guessing River Road/Alpine is not in cards for this one?
who want's to go out tomorrow?

i'm moving a buddy on sunday and i want to get a good ride in.

hammer on the hills, wait at the top, tempo on the flats.

holler!
"The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for the five boroughs of NYC from 10:00PM tonight to 6:00PM Saturday. Sustained winds between 25-40 MPH with gusts up to 60 MPH are expected. These winds will be capable of bringing down trees, large branches, and power lines. Driving will be difficult, especially in high profile vehicles and on elevated roads and bridges."

Woo-hah! Bring yer sails, boys.
Trainer time tomorrow
tito and i are gonna brave it!

9am on the JERSEY side of the bridge

hooha!
You two will be swimming in the Hudson.
but you'll save me, right?

Don't taunt us with your sunny California riding tales. We are hardish men here. I will be out Sunday morning for the Feb Final Sunday Kissena Classic (FFSKC).
I'll try to make the Annual Last Sunday in February Gigantic Group Ride Kissena Love Fest (ALSDGGRKLF) as well. But might have a date (no kidding), so....
Planning on joining if the weather doesn't get worse. What's the time, 8:00am?, NJ side of GWB, right?
8AM Brooklyn Bridge (Tillary st) 9AM GWB, NJ Side. DuH!
PROTOCOL!!! Where's roy?

Cancelled hot date for you nerds. Go easy on me tomorrow please.
Thanks Chief. Will be seeing you all at 9am on the NY side of GWB.

Wait, I've been drinking. It's 9AM New Jersey Side. Why is this so hard.
Because you're from down under and everything is reversed

Doh! .
How long/far is the ride from GWB?
For the IVs and Vs, about 30 miles round trip GWB to Rockleigh to Piermont to the GWB . Probably back to the GWB around 12 or 12:30

For the 123s, a bit longer, they ride up to Rockland Lake.
@ Mark - it will be pretty mellow. You can handle it.

@ Adam / Eric. I edited my original post, it's not Adam's crazy Aussie thinking, it's my "gotta finish this growler before it goes bad" thinking.
I'll meet you guys at the GWB, I'll drive in from BK. Got room for one more if anyone wants. text 718-208-9372
