Cold laps today in the pitch. I posted last night to see if I could inspire. But David, guilt can lead to the same actions, so almost as good! You were missed this morning.
oh my oh my, it's been a month since I've been on the bike (2 weeks due to vacation, 2 weeks due to outright laziness). Swear I've gained 10 lbs. in that amount of time. Ugh.
Going to do everything I can to make it out tomorrow morning, but I have a feeling it's going to be rough. Would gladly welcome the company.
Got out a bit later this morning for some misty laps around the park. A warm, damp ride that made me homesick for Portland. Not shockingly, there weren't too many blinky lights out (and I saw nay a Kissena). A few more lights going through the clouds over the Manhattan Bridge on the commute to work; fog makes this city look like another.

@Gwynna, my first race ever was in CP on a misty morning after a night of heavy rain. The women's field was neutralized in Horseshit Alley. My face looked like @Garrigan's on the Supercross t-shirts. That's not mud in your eye.
It was a cold one this morning. Only saw one other rider in the park the whole time I was there. Plenty of runners though, and wearing shorts at that. Something wrong with that group I tell you.
@Jessica, I hope we weren't somehow on the opposite side of the park the whole time.
@Josh, made a last minute decision to ride later in the morning. Still cold out there! Looking forward to some hot chocolate and dethawing my feet. Happy New Year folks.
