depends a little bit on plans tonight, but will try to join you, as these 60 minutes tempo sessions can be more fun with company.
I'm in. Got the Orange Creamsicle of the wall and put some nice muggy Brooklyn air it's tubs.
I am in too. Tempo wednesday.
I'm in. 6:15 GAP. Be there.
Oh and if someone has a left Look pedal I can borrow please bring
I'll be there, I have some gnarly old look keo pedals I can bring if you want them @Jeffrey White
Im down for a ride tomorrow morning, I'll try to find you all.
Whew! Thanks for blowing my legs off guys. A very organized paceline was interrupted by a possibly (?) MG sighting. Sadly it was a donated jersey but made for a fun chase afterwards.

Nice to meet you Stubbs and Eddie!

that was fun and the hotness. cheers!!
That was THE Wednesday turn up!!

also, a moment after we passed the 5th floor team, they got into a screaming match with someone from Major Taylor.

David Hall sent me a note apologizing for the racket, which seems quite unnecessary, but here it is.

Eloy, apologies if you guys overheard the spat between myself and the major Taylor guy in the park this morning. Admittedly myself and Alex got a little over zealous leading to the hill but he absolutely blew up on us, screaming some quite insulting things- including about my accent.

In hindsight I should have ignored it as he has a reputation and it achieved nothing other than make me look silly too. Anyway nice to see you and if you could pass the message to your team mates who were there that would be appreciated.

David

HOW DID I MISS THIS
Jeff and I can only afford 3 pedals due to our wedding, so I took one for the team and let him use two of them this morning.  :(
I'm in. 6:15 GAP. Be there.
I brought pedals...at 6:15. womp womp
@RileyHoonan: Sorry we missed you! I think we rolled at exactly 6:15. Guys were raring to go. Thanks for bringing the pedal nonetheless! I even brought a little baggie to keep something dirty in the jersey pocket.

Yeah, I peeled off the pace line during that stretch when David and the Jordan maniac were getting into it. Remind me to never get in a f--k you contest with a Scotsman. David destroyed the poor guy. The whole situation around us was getting really dicey though -- Freds drafting on cars like it was the caravan in Paris Roubaix, shouting matches, multiple black minivans in the mix. Yikes.

Great, hard pace today. Guys are strong!

Yeah that was hella weird. I was right behind Lt. Dan when we swerved to avoid someone who had dropped anchor but then I heard hollering behind, and there were cars; I couldn't tell if it was cars yelling at cyclists, cyclists yelling at cars, or the wild animals from the zoo escaping Madagascar-style.

I was pretty blown by then so I just rolled along.

Good times.
I believe it was Eddy B who was going at it with David Hall. It was getting bonkers all over the road on the hill.

I stuck on Eloy's wheel for two more laps and then had to drop anchor and cool down it turned into about 45 minutes of "tempo" workout. The rotating paceline was great. It was good to see folks working together so well.
Mental note, ride easy the day before a tempo ride because your tempo rides are no joke!  I could only hang for a couple laps before my legs blew up however those two laps were great!

I'll se you out there again real soon.

Cheers,

Nubbs

I thought this was a joke, but they're actually sharing a pedal.
#truelove
It's true!  Today was my day with the pedal.  I did a true tempo pace with Jules.

It sounds like your pace yesterday was not even close to tempo, so don't be discouraged @DanSugrue .

Tomorrow, I'll be out there doing recovery and openers.  I get the pedal two days in a row!
Tomorrow. All the yes.

Meet at 6am at GAP.

We'll ride super mellow, I mean super super mellow, for about 90 minutes.

If you are racing Saturday, let me know, and we'll include some openers, I am racing too, so we'll do them together -- please don't randomly attack the group.

Wear kissena colors, and come looking sharp. You are likely to be photographed. Obvs.

If you are late, just wait, we'll orbit around, and if you happen to own a cool bike shop in Dumbo, we miss you, and this could be the perfect ride for you ;)

See you then, it'll be easy fun.

those openers really did a good job of opening up my hangover. Thank Eloy!*
