Man that parts bin looks sweet...
Hey folks, I am looking to part ways with my Minoura Rollers. They’re in really good condition so I am looking for $150 (they retail for over $250). If interested, I can deliver them to you. Please PM me with any offers or questions. Thanks!
For those who aren’t familiar with rollers, they are a GREAT way to work on several skills that you can’t really work on with other indoor trainers like leg speed, balance, core strength, and pedaling efficiency (what the French call souplesse). Bobby’s rollers are especially for you if you tend to mash the pedals
^be sure to avoid searching youtube for roller related crashes ;)

Definitely find them all.  watch a few.

If you can't ride rollers, that's a huge reason why you should learn to do so.
When I started out on them I put the rollers in a doorway to help with getting going. But I improved significantly when I stopped looking at my front wheel - just look ahead into the distance and you'll be fine.
Without a shadow of a doubt; riding rollers will take your bike handling souplesse to the next level. They are an invaluable training tool.

(Still funny as hell to joke about the wipeouts tho ;))
This may be a weird ask, but does anyone have a 12x142 rear wheel that is perfectly true that you don't use anymore? My rear wheel has a wobble that can't be trued out and it's causing some low frequency vibrations when I'm on my Kickr Snap that basically resonate through the floor assembly. I'm just trying to be as nice to my neighbors as possible.

Maybe the real answer is getting a direct drive trainer...

Why can't it be trued?
While I do think that direct drive is better, if no one here offers a wheel, buying a cheap rear wheel from redbeard would be easy, but again, wondering why the wheel can't be trued.
^once when I was living in Stuy town the police knocked on my door because my downstairs neighbour thought I had a machine running...
@eloy It's a stock wheel that came with my Roubaix and has been carrying my 265 pound self for the past 3 years. I just got a through axle that would work with the trainer and noticed then how badly out of true the wheel was. I took it to Redbeard and they said they did the best job the ycould, but in essence the rim is starting to fail.

My plan was to check here then ask Redbeard if they have any takeoffs.

@Jules, I definitely want to avoid that. I haven't had any complaints yet, and it's been a week of riding, so hopefully that's good news.
Hi all, I just posted a bunch of deals over on the "sponsor deals/news" thread. (Evoc bike bag - not hardshell, but it's the best bike bag in our experience; Saris Bones rack; etc.) Plus our shop hours for Dec/Jan. Please check it out and happy hols!

@cpulvidente if you still need a rack and @DotanGreenvald if you still want a bike bag...

Anybody want these Mavic Ksyrium Equipe wheels?  Rim brake with campy freehub. True and round. Bearings are pretty good. Includes skewers and rim tape.

Edit: The freehub dragged on these resulting in vibration and noise.  It's a known Mavic design problem.  I pulled them apart a couple years ago to lubricate (and fix) the issue. I don't recall if the freehub still dragged afterward. I will test them in the next few days.

Not looking for much (or anything) in exchange.  Want to be sure they get used wherever they go.

Hey / I recognize this! Only a year's worth of use, too. Switched to 167.5mm about a month ago after a consult with Ilya. (Thanks for posting this Kasia!)
Used Wahoo trainer mat. It was on the Redbeard shop floor for a couple marks, it's a bit scuffed and one corner is a bit chewed up. If you have a basement or garage and aren't too particular - it will do the trick. Asking $20. Retail is $70. email hi@redbeardbikes.com!

@Kasia Nikhamina I'll take it.
Anyone need a FREE set of ROLLERS?

ex-Kissena Keith Snyder is trying to give these away.

Not in as pristine condition, but the same model.

Part of me thinks the club should take them and then just loan them out to whomever is in need.   But I'm not in a good place (Harlem) to host them.

You need to be smoother and more efficient.  Rollers will help on that quest.
