Anyone want this Rapha handlebar bag? I didn’t use it as often as I thought I’d might and it’s been sitting in my closet for ages. It’s in good shape, little bit of dirt on the back, and includes all the straps for on bike and off bike toting. Say $25?

This is from Josh Parker, a Kissena member about a decade ago, who is sitting on the stuff and not using it. (don't know if he'd get back into racing again, but he was a strong category IV racer who pulled off an amazing win at the Fitchburg stage race, by soloing to win the final stage criterium)

Here's Eloy rocking the look at a CX race.

That photo is 14 years old! Still remember that race, because cyclocross in the snow!
Anyone have a Giant 90mm stem they want to unload? The giants have 1 1/4 steerer tubes so can’t use standard stem and the pandemic makes so many things hard to come by. Will pay $$

I think I have a 110mm somewhere, if helpful.
Moving at the end of the month and trying to purge some parts wanted to give y'all first pick before they go up on the various internets get em while they're dusty from sitting on a shelf!!:

Brand new take off 172.5mm Ultegra crankset from my girlfriend's Canyon Speedmax:

And a brand new in the box Tiagra RD-4700-GS rear derailleur:

Hey all ... bit of a random request. Would anyone have a loaner of a 110bcd 1x chainring in 44T or above for a week or so?

I have a 52t Ultegra chainring 2x thats sitting around... not sure that helps you much though
I think I have a 44t 2x ring around.  110bcd, 5-arm.
Looking for 44cm-ish road bars. Alu or carbon with the contemporary rounded drop.
Does anyone have a size 52/54 bike I could borrow for a bit? I’ve been scouring the market for a new bike but haven’t found anything I’m crazy about yet and don’t want to rush this if possible but also don’t want my season to end so early

Huge kudos to @SammuelAuld who lent me his BMC for 8 days while he is out of town.
I picked up a used replacement set of wheels the other day that came shod in a pair of 26mm Specialized Turbo Pro (non tubeless I think). I think the orig owner put like 100mi on them and they look brand new. I dont have a need for them right now so if anyone wants them they’re all yours!

Edit: taken!

Looking for 42cm Giant Contact SL handlebars, if anyone happens to have um lying around. Used or new. Preferably the SL aluminum version, as I like the specific drop / reach / slope on those bars, more than any other bars I've tried

I think I have some lying around, might be 40s tho. Will confirm.

@eloy - if you do have a 40cm, I'd be interested. I've ridden 42 most of my life but i was thinking about going narrower anyway
Giant Contact SL

stop by whenever
So, my son has outgrown his 650c wheeled road bike.  Time for a 700c.

I've got a small frame lined up and wheels, but I'm looking for 2x 9- or 10- speed drivetrain components.

Anyone have used stuff in their used parts bin they don't see a future use for?

Looking for shifters, derailleurs, 170mm 110bcd crank (arms are fine; looking to build into s 46/34). a cassette with a 26, 28, or 30 big cog.  Used is great.  SRAM, Shimano, Campy, don't matter (though campy is the hardest to work with since there's very little of it around).  Ideally looking for 105- or Rival- level stuff.

PM or post here.

thanks.
JP -- I likely have some bits you could use. Don't have a 110bcd, but have a 170 130bcd. Also chains/cassettes/bottom brackets, etc..., just gave Brian my 40mm bars, so not that. If you want, maybe after next week's race, you can stop by and we can go thru the part bin.

Hi JP,

Are you willing to sell the old bike? I am looking for one for my son and daughter.

Hi JP,

Are you willing to sell the old bike? I am looking for one for my son and daughter.
Remy,
     Not yet.

My daughter stands to inherit it.  Though she's starting to hit a big growth spurt and I wonder if she'll outgrow it within the year.  Still, she has yet to learn to ride on her own. I'm hoping the bike is an incentive to learn on a beat-up 20" BMX bike, which we can then give away.  And when this become's available, I will offer it to Kissena people first.

My source for Oscar's new bike is a friend who also has a small Specialized frame he's trying to sell.  I think it's a 50cm.  All I know is that it's not light.  But, if you're interested in finding out more, I can ask him for specifics.

JP,

Yes, that would be great if you could ask. Thanks.

The growth spurt makes it quite challenging to get them a bike. I don't want to spend a fortune in something they could outgrow shortly and I don't think buying a bike they would "grow" is the answer either.

@Remy Forgues

My friend has an old specialized road frame and fork.  It measures 48cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the center of the seat cluster.  the measurement to the top of the seat clamp is 52cm  The top tube is 53cm.

it comes with a traditional headset.  The BB is english-threaded.  I assume the seat tube diameter is 27.2mm.

I think my friend wants $50 for it.

He also has wheels.

Looking around these days, it's hard to find kids bikes.  It's the global bike shortage.  Furthermore, I think everyone understands that as kids hit puberty, their growth spurts are impossible to guess.  I think kids realize this as well.  So long as you can build up a bike, I'd imagine a kid will be reasonably happy.

Looking around the web, it seems that finding derailleurs, chains, cassettes, seat posts, saddles are easy for 9- and 10- speeds.  Cranks are a bit harder, especially short ones.  Integrated shifters are harder still.  For integrated shifters, it seems like the cheap and reliable thing to do is a brand called MicroShift.

My friend is Jason. His email is chupick@gmail.com.  Tell him I sent you.
@Remy Forgues

I was just at Recycle-a-Bicycle.   They've got a 24" wheel Felt road bike from about 2015 for sale at $500.

If you have a kid that fits it, that's a good deal.  If you have a kid that is tall enough to ride 700c wheels, I think my friend's frame, if you source parts wisely, could be around $400.
