i broke my wrist after getting hit by a car while on my fixie on new years day. i was extremely lucky seeing how the bicycle flew off from under my feet, almost hit a pedestrian who was crossing the street and was able to walk away almost unscathed. my fixie however is totaled: fork bent and rear wheel good for the garbage. i walked to beth israel's ER and was diagnosed with a small fracture at the epiphysis of the radius bone. I'm in a lot of pain but take painkillers (vicodin and percocet) as needed.
i have a cast and i can ride my trainer, however my position is quite stretched.
Does anyone have a short stem by any chance? i'm looking for an 90mm or lower.

i live in brooklyn next to grand army plaza but ill be along the green line in the city tomorrow. i could easily take a crosstown bus to meet you. however, i don't know if the stem will fit. the headset is 1-1/4" with a 25mm top cap. the handlebars are 31.8mm. it doesn't seem it's a fit but lemme know. thank you!

Anyone ever used Duoderm instead of Tegaderm? I've heard it's better, but a lot more expensive.

@Alyosha -- That's terrible! Glad to hear your injuries weren't more severe. Just brainstorming here, but you could put some clip-on aerobars (I guess you'd only actually need one) with the elbow cups slid all the way back to use as a support. Sorry, can't help you with a stem.

Yeah. But tegaderm does have some adhesive properties and is 10 x less expensive than duoderm. Not sure it's worth the extra $. 50 bucks for 10 dressings? Better feel amazing and heal that shit in a few days.

What to do with these Cat 5 purple vomit jerseys—repurpose? They would make a good layer for someone of more normal size. On me they are a midriff top, exposing my ripped 6 pack abs.

Some shit heel stripped my bike yesterday when it was locked up outside school - now I need:
