FYI, this VW Jetta, is before they, in efforts to become the world's #1 sales leader, dumbed down the suspension and downgraded the interiors of VWs.Jules said:Bryan Gunther of NYVelocity is selling his car. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=339632695&LNX=SOMEDFBVDP&fb_action_ids=10152199895167699&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_source=other_multiline&action_object_map=[159546364196476]&action_type_map=["og.likes"]&action_ref_map=[]

That's weird. I really like sucky trannys. It's all personal preference I guess!eragot said:Marc is correct. unfortunately, VW used the Asin transmission (Toyota uses them too), which sucks. Its just the weakest part of the car. However, the rest of the car is good, and if the tranny has been trouble free so far, it's probably going to be ok. But, VW did use a sucky tranny.Marc Bertucco said:FYI, this VW Jetta, is before they, in efforts to become the world's #1 sales leader, dumbed down the suspension and downgraded the interiors of VWs.Jules said:Bryan Gunther of NYVelocity is selling his car. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=339632695&LNX=SOMEDFBVDP&fb_action_ids=10152199895167699&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_source=other_multiline&action_object_map=[159546364196476]&action_type_map=["og.likes"]&action_ref_map=[]
I agree that if it was a wagon, and diesel and stick shift, I'd be tempted...even though the idea of me owning a car in Manhattan is reeedonkulous. Garage fees and insurance alone would run me $5000 a year.ian ellis said:The only thing wrong with that Jetta that I can see is that it is a sedan. It should be a wagon. What kind of bike racer owns a sedan ?
If I was going to be really picky I'd also say it should be a diesel too

Mazda is releasing a diesel that doesn't require the urea injected into exhaust to meet emissions requirements...

Oh jeeeeshhh...tell me you don't have new/ish CAAD 10?!Aaron Blum said:Looking to buy a bb30 crankset 170mm length. My current one is sram rival gxp but even with the adapter, it makes this annoying clicking sound. I had the guys at rb check it out and they regreased it an tried everything but it keeps clicking. Maybe a new bb30 crankset would solve the issue.
