Selling my TT bike, if anyone is interested. Don't worry, I full intend to by another one in future. I liked the discipline and would like to upgrade.

Great bike for someone looking to get into TTs and it won't break the bank at all. I only built it this Spring so it has only actually been ridden a few times.

Top-tube is 55cm. "medium"

The wheels that are on it will come with it. They are training clinchers, 30mm depth.

Hey guys,

Anyone able to lend a Women's 52-54ish (or a 49-51cm Men's) road bike for this Sunday? I'm doing the NYC century and she's planning to try the 55 miler. The rentals we tried (52cm Men's geom) didn't fit great, and no one in town rents Women's or has smaller than a 52 mens.

I can pick up and drop off at convenient times. Thanks!

Bont A-Two shoes, size 46, black. $140. Ridden only 4 times.

I bought these off of ebay, the seller saying that they were 42.5, and my feet swim in them. I assume that the 46 hand-written on the side of the box is the actual size. These shoes are fully heat-moldable, so any break-in by the previous owner can be easily erased. If I don't hear from anyone by Friday I'll send them back. Call me at 646 545 1443 and we can arrange the exchange. I'm in town for only a short time and then it's back overseas.

Also, stay tuned for more items that I'll post on the forum, as I try to clear out my storage locker. There will be some electronics, wheels, a nice bike pump, the NYC Kryptonite chain with storefront lock, and various other items.

Raced cat 5 with this thing and commuted on it for a few years, but ultimately too big for me. I replaced the chain and cassette last summer, rode it around the block, and haven't touched it since. Except for the tires and new cassette/chain, everything is well used and aesthetically beat up, but perfectly functional. Front hub feels a bit gritty in the hand, but smooth on the road. 28mm tires fit fine, but can be tight with full fenders.

Fuji Team frame, 56". Easton Aluminum tubing, bought from John Wordin who ran the Mercury team which rode these bikes. White with yellow and black. Derailleur hanger might need a little love, but otherwise it's an amazing frame. Has a carbon Reynolds fork. This is one of the best bikes I've ever ridden. Fast, solid geometry. It will also come with a Ritchey headset and stem with ITM bars. American Classic seat post. Bottle cages. Maybe the Campy Record 53x39 crank and square taper bb. The rest of the components I'm keeping for a future dream bike. $200

For sale:

Vuelta corsa super light tubulars wheels with Griffo XS file tread tires.

Very Light, strong, good glue job. Only a handful of miles on these tires and wheels. Great for the typical dry grassy races around here. Think nittany, whirly bird, independence, cooper river, bubble cross, etc etc.

I need more room in small apartment. Kinda driving the wife nuts with 4 sets of cx tubulars plus road wheels etc.

It is with some sadness that I'm thinking of selling this beast , lots of time hauling ass,but now the kids are too big It's a Raleigh frame , not sure on the size ,I'm 5,10, Rear disc brake , wheels run true ,tires pretty good shape , extra cycle bags didnt hold up so great , the mesh ends have holes , but the Velcro is good and the straps are ok Not sure what it's worth , make me an offer ,depending on what the offer is , I might just keep in the garage as I'm somewhat sentimental about all the time the 3 of us spent on the thing rain or shine Oh , yeah this thing weighs a ton

There is no debate. You must join us. Many races offer up race-day rentals (Whirlybird for one, has in the past), also shops like NYC Velo rent for the weekend. Could be a nice opportunity to give it a try. (Be prepared to never look back though)
