Garmin Edge 500 for sale $100. Works well, just missing the little piece of rubber on the back that protects where the usb cord hooks up. If you're interested, text me and I'll send pics. 612-298-0705
Can anyone lend me some cable cutters? I'm planning on going to the social tomorrow so can easily pick them up then.
I won't be at the social (I have a conflicting anti-social scheduled) but I have some up North of the Wall at W 181st St if you want to swing by some time
@Brendan Rigby That's far. I'll let you know if I need to head up to pick it up but hopefully I'll get lucky tomorrow.
hopefully!  i will now add "receiving cable cutters for bicycle repair" to the urbandictionary definition of "getting lucky"
I'll be at the social and will bring my nippers.
Awesome. Thanks.
Wow this thread is like an NSFW tightrope walk

Here's a long shot: Anyone have working 7 speed STI shifters in their parts bin?
Looks like we have a week of beautiful spring weather ahead.

But you know it won't last. This is April in New York! It really is, as T.S. Eliot wrote, the cruelest month. Wrap yourself against its savagery with KISSENA FLEECE ARM AND LEG WARMERS FOR SALE.

Maybe you've been waiting to complete your team kit. Maybe lycra warmers just don't cut it anymore. What's certain, however, is that April's average daily low temperatures are in the 40s. We're not yet in the warm season.

$20 for Kissena fleece arm warmers, Size M
$30 for Kissena fleece leg warmers, Size L

These were brand new in February, and I've only worn them occasionally since then. They turned out to be too big for me, and so when the mercury dropped (which it rarely did this winter) I preferred to wear my bib tights and long-sleeve jerseys or jackets.

If you order these from the team store, that'll cost you $34 and $55 respectively...and you'll have to wait a month before you can wear them. If you buy mine, you save money and time.

KISSENA FLEECE ARM WARMERS, SIZE M, $20
KISSENA FLEECE LEG WARMERS, SIZE L, $30

Located in Brooklyn near Prospect Park, but willing to travel to make the sale.

Message me on the forum, or call or text me at 479-841-8562

Updated 1:18 p.m. with SIZES. Doh!
Max, I'm interested with your leg warmers!!
Max I'll grab the arm warmers, please.
@MaxThorn if eloy's not getting the M arm warmers I'll gladly take those off your hands. or arms, as it may be
spring cleaning, if anyone wants any of these for free, let me know, else I'll throw in the trash tomorrow Sunday April 17

Eloy,
    I'd love the DVD's.
I can only imagine how brash a 2006 J-Pow was

@MaxThorn also expressed interest, I think he wants to play some of them at the next kissena social.

I any case, JP, you can keep the DVDs, Max, you can take the VHS tapes.

I can bring the DVDs to the next Prospect Park race, this coming Sunday.
I was mostly interested in "Pro," "The Quest" and "A Sunday in Hell" DVDs. I don't mind if JP takes the DVDs (so long as he's willing to loan them if this movie social idea I have in my head pans out) and without a TV (not to mention a VHS player), the tapes aren't as attractive to me.
Someone should probably digitize the VHS tapes for posterity though.
I pair of Ksyrium SL SSC wheels, (shimano freewheel) from approx. 2004-2007 = $100

• Rear wheel has a broken drive-side spoke (pictured below)
• One spare spoke included but it's a rear non-drive side spoke (pictured below)
• I've broken 2-3 spokes in the rear wheel during the past year so buy at your own risk - it needs to be properly trued, along with spoke replacement.
• Front wheel has been working fine for the past year, haven't had any issues with hubs.

Of course, I'd be happy to loan.

I've got several cycling DVD's as well.  Actually have Hollentour and the 1989 tour (can pass on those, but I hate to see stuff get thrown out), and have seen Sunday in Hell, love to see it again.  But Pro and The Quest I gave up looking for.

And in the "posterity" vein, I have stuff I recorded off of TV in the eighties and nineties, like a broadcast of the one-time Cititour, which ran in 1986.  Imagine this, from Goshen, NY to the Upper East Side, and they went across the Hudson on the Bear Mtn Bridge and then took, I believe the Cross Bronx expressway to Manhattan.  Phil Anderson won.

I also have a cyclocross tape from the early 90s.  A how-to, but I don't even know if the advice is any good any more.
Max et al,

In terms of cycling DVD's, I have a bunch.  I'm keeping them, but happy to loan.
(I toss jewel cases)

La Course en Tete/The Greatest Show on Earth--merckx at his best
Crash--a crashing compendium
The Six-Day Bicycle Races--a documentary
A Ride with George--hincapie at home and on his bike at home

2003 Tour of Romandie-2 DVD's of EPO-fueled climbing madness
2003 Vuelta--3 DVD's
2005 Giro--3 DVD's Savodelli's descending might be the highlight
1986 Tour
1989 Tour
1989 Worlds
1990 Tour
Road to Paris--the Nike-produced Lance Armstrong Training Doc
same deal as the movies, if you'd like any of these books for free, let me know, else they will be donated next weekend

Brian, care to take them to Redbeard to get an assessment of rear wheel integrity?  i'd be interested.
For those who run, I have a Garmin Forerunner 15 for sale.  In great shape, I'm just looking for an upgrade.  $70. Link below of the specs.

Yo Scott - I can take the rear wheel to Redbeard to see what they say. I'll keep you posted
posting for a friend...

"I have a set of Kreitler 4.5 Alloy (all alloy) Rollers with the adjustable pin for sale.I am asking $350. They go for $600 new.
They are in very good condition. I can send photos.
The reason I am selling is because I haven't used these in about 6 years. I bought from Toga around 2002 and have original paperwork. They have lifetime guarantee and I've never had a problem.
If interested, call me at 201-519-6611 or email dianegoodwin@yahoo.com
Thanks :)Diane Goodwin"
Them's a steal....I've got Kreitlers but not the all alloy kind...I've got plastic capped ones cuz way cheaper...the all aluminum ones are lifetime products...someone buy them, they are perfect for recovery rides or pre race warm up/cool down (so PRO)
Mine see heavy action...my sweat does bad things....bad things
