I think JP still occasionally rides that bike, no? When's our down tube shifter only ride? Ok there will be like 5 of us. You, me, and maybe Stokes, Marc, and Sanderson?

I do have a bike with down tube shifters. But guess what? I bought it from JP. It's a Team Fuji.

I still ride it on occasion. Showing up on group rides in far away places with that bike and a powertap hub raises eyebrows. I love crushing them on that bike. Took some KoM's the last time I was in Florida, also rode a whole bunch of people off my wheel. Previous time I was there, I drove a break in a crit with hit.

How about we all turn up to a race on our beater bikes? Club champs?

Also, JP must wear his yellow Oakley Factory Pilots.

Sorry, but my downtube shifter bike is a bit small (49cm).

For club championship, I will reintroduce the controversial suggestion that we each wear jerseys from previous clubs or teams or whatever. Perhaps we will see dayglo or fredtastic. It would be much easier to distinguish who was in the break.

And we can bring our Kissena kit for the photo afterwards.
