Hey. We did that trip I posted about. It was fun!
Bo and Agnes rode their first 360 miles of the year in one week. Fun times. Lots of good sights, food, and history.

Hey Folks,
Not sure if anyone is into this kind of thing, but I'm planning a bike trip starting around June 28-30 and getting back to NYC no later than July 7th.
I'm thinking of doing some sort of loop up in the Lake Champlain region with excursions into the Green Mountains.
Right now, the plan is to do it solo and camp along the way. If anyone is interested in joining for all or part of the trip, I'd love some company. I'm thinking depending on the terrain it would be a 70-100 mile per day type of thing.

@mperlberg, that trip is totally something i'd want to do after the bar. the bar is july 30 and 31. i can't do it before then, sorry. maybe next year!

5 days ~ 400 miles. Finding lots of cool dirt and gravel climbs. In my eagerness to find dirt to ride on, I ended up on a hellish trail today that was so shitty I had to remove my panniers multiple times to ford streams. The plus was a mid ride shower under a waterfall.
The loaded touring part of the trip is over, meeting bo and friends at an airbnb place for the weekend, but still lots of great climbs to ride around here. Ill post some pics once I get to a computer.

Hey Folks
This past July we took a little tour through Slovenia. The Triglav national park in the Eastern Julian Alps is truly amazing. Go to the Vrsic Pass and you'll find some of the most impressive mountain views I saw from my bike (and I climbed many of the classics in the Alps), sharp hairpin turns, cobble stones ..

That is a really deal. I plan on throwing the panniers on and riding from nyc to Canada this summer...then taking an amtrak back
