Want to call it 6?
I will do my best to make it by 6.
I would come out for the 5 pm start but would need to be out by 630 so a 6 pm start is a bit late.
Just get out there!

I will get out there when I can and will post when I go.
I am getting dressed and will head out now for about 2 hours. See you there.
If you are joining - wait in one spot, or ride backwards.
I'll be out there tonight. Shooting for 5PM, maybe even 4:30.

Ragot? Johnson? Bueller?
Ragot - if not raining...
I'll come out if not raining. Probably can't beat 5:30 though.
I'm shooting for 5. Yeah, if not raining. Or at least not raining too much. Bring fenders
Shooting to be out around 7
heading out now.
Looks like the rains going to hold off. Heading home now hope to be there by 6
I'll be there a lil before 6
Great ride tonight.

If you live in brooklyn and ride evenings you should be out for this one. We will keep it going as long as weather makes it feasible. If you can only come late, no big deal, wait or roll backwards to find the group.

Me, jules, eric, joe, ryan, jeff were out tonight. I think I'm missing someone.
Good work out tonight
Definitely a good time; The Perl-inator was "cruising" at 290 watts as usual... :p
When I saw Mike and Whitey I thought they were doing tt efforts he was going so hard. I was wrong he was just out for some tempo.
You forgot the hanger-on in the red jersey with the loud chain. Future Kissena maybe. Or maybe an incognito Jeff Owens. I forget what he looks like.

I joined Kissena in January of this year and my first impressions of the club were the Wednesday night PP tempo rides in the cold pitch black. If I had been in on them since October, I would have been stronger all year, no question. This off-season ride ranks up there with our CycleOps sponsorship and Bertucco's race reports (crit and CX only -- his hilly race reports are kinda downers) as one of the best "club benefits."

The cool thing is, we have a big enough group that we can stretch the ride from 5 to 9. We all have varying schedules and availability, but each of us can catch onto the ride when we can and overlap with other teammates' rides. People cycle in and out the whole time, as we did tonight. Jules was finished before I got there, Mike pulled out some time later, and Eric and I pulled out with Ryan and Joe still tapping out their tempo.

So yeah, like Mike said, work this one in.
On my way out I ran into a fella named Adam on a Yellow Bike who said he had his paperwork done but not submitted; seemed eager to hitch a ride but had just started a Princeton commute. Keep an eye out for him. Those hairy legged guys can surprise you...
Hmmmmm, is my chain that loud or am I that much of a wheel sucker?

Like Jules, I know a couple of Cat2 guys who are moving here. I'll do my best recruiting job for a finder's fee of more free socks from Reiners.
It was really fun tonight. There's something very cool about hammering along in the dark, especially now that the weather is changing. Since a lot of us are doing one-hour tempo sessions, I am now fondly referring to this ride as "the power hour"
that comes when you surge every few minutes and then settle back to the tempo...
then the real hour of power is done at threshold!
Since the forecast calls for rain on Wednesday, and no rain + slightly warmer conditions Thursday, is anyone switching days ?

Assuming nothing blows up at work, I am planning to go out Thursday night around 8 to Prospect.
@ Josh ---- good point but I'll be at work late Thursday so I'll be doing tempo in moderate rain on Wednesday, or hitting the trainer if it is especially nasty. Any takers? This Wednesday tempo is a great day for me to really take out my work frustrations on the pedals...

Mike
I'm really looking forward to it unless the weather is total shite.
I have a rain cape.
I'll be out in the early morning. Family Man's wednesday ride.
I have a rain cape too but it's brand new and its Rapha and it was like $450 so I really don't want to get it wet
lol

just something to wear to the next NYCvelo tugjob festival
If it's not raining too hard, I'm in. 6:30 or so.
