The Cat 4 & 5 crew at today's last race.

Good times!  The field was having fun today with a lot of moves, but ultimately nothing stuck. Brian was in at least 3 including a daring solo roll off the front but nobody wanted to bridge with 3 to go, trusting that the jersey leaders would chase to defend.

Glad I made it out to race and to hang with the kissena crew. Until next year!

Fun race today in the 4's - we covered all the moves, initiated a few but nothing stuck for the whole race. Good teamwork. I felt good with about two laps to go and got a decent gap on the hill hoping someone would join me but I was hung out to dry for half a lap. Wish I had better positioning on final lap, as the legs felt surprisingly good for the hill & sprint. Last PP race was the opposite, 4th wheel up the hill but legs were no mas when it came sprint-time

First Cat 4 and and was fun (nevermind getting to sleep at 1am, missing the alarm, waking at 5:35am but making it to the start line ... living near the park has finally paid for itself).

Didn't know what to expect after I got shattered on Tuesday @ Floyd.  I felt positive though, in a pack fodder kind of way.

Final lap, I was bringing up the rear, and approaching the hill, worked my way up the right side.  Had a good line and punched it hard to what felt like front of the pack at top of the hill.  But lack of fitness didn't keep me over the top the way I wanted to and slide towards the back I did.  Happy with the finish and being with a good crew for the last 4 of the year at Ppark.

Nice to see Kissenas out in force today in 4's &BiG Thanks to ALL that marshalled; (9)laps...managed (8)&4/5th laps trailed-off on final bigRing climb; still, fun rolling back-to-front &front-to-back of bunch...we'll have to organize a bit next season, plenty of strength in 4's c2017!

I think I'd like to focus on the Castelli NY series because it has a field that will be more appropriate for me...they intro'd a 2/3 field this year. no more cat 1s occupying the whole podium!

I'll probably race the 5 on 3/26 - it'll be my last race as a 5 (assuming Branchbrook isn't canceled next weekend too)

Considering the following:

1. early race in the season
2. Sebastian's last race in the 5's
3. Sebastian's fitness and performance at Grant's Tomb

I think we should get a group together to work for @SebastianVidal to win this one.

I'm signed up, been under the weather this week, and with a though project at work, so I'll play it by ear -- but where else would be at 6 am in a cold wet March morning.

  I fell down a flight of stairs last week which resulted in a lung contusion so racing is out of the picture for a little while.

I'm in for the 4 race. I hope to contest for the green (sprint) jersey. Could use some help.

I've been sick with the flu all week. Doubtful that I will make it to help whitey at L&C.
