Mother Nature hotness:

I could only stick around long enough to see Rob grab some KOM points. Hope everyone's race went well.

Many of you will remember that last year on June 17th, Phil Ginsberg died on the Manhattan bridge of a cardiac issue returning from a group ride with several teammates. Phil’s friends and teammates will surely find ways to remember him.
The board thought it would be appropriate to remember his passing at this first anniversary in the following way. First, those of us at Saturday’s L&C Cup will wear black arm bands as a reminder of his loss and to honor Phil. See me at registration as I will have armbands.
Second, Eloy will be leading a remembrance ride in Prospect Park on Monday (the actual anniversary). This will likely be a low key event meant to honor his memory. Look out for Eloy’s announcement if you would like to attend.
For either event we can share
memories or stories if we wish or just remember him privately. Whatever feels right
Unfortunately, I won't be able to race this weekend. I was hoping to get the stitches out today but the doctor suggested I wait until next week. The good news is theres no signs of infection or anything so the recovery is on track. I'm training indoors but I don't want to race with stitches and I don't feel confident in my hand yet to hold on to the bars/pull the brake (although I can shift totally fine on the right side, partially because thats my only option these daysPatrickGrehan said:Robert isn’t registered (still recovering from his crash?) so are we setting up Ricky for the win?
Sage advice except, what are we thinking for Ricky/Jeff/Patrick? Ricky did 365 for 20 at Bear, those are monstrous numbers. Everyone should just spread across the road in V formation going up Grand Army Plaza and then Ricky goes full throttle FTW.
- Even if on another team: HELP THEM WIN
No sweat!!!Sean Hourigan said:thierry - well you happen to the man, so thank you for that.
I think I saw your name on the volunteer sheet as well, so I shall see you bright and early. I can bring you a coffee! thanks again!
