Hunter Mountain Spring Classic

Big Johnny M, I would love to hit that shit up with you and my Hunter Mountain bro that is Jeff C.  Unfortunately, the next day I am going to get my spleen torn out by a group of Kelly Benefits pros at Bear Mountain.  I generally like to take it easy the day before a spleen removal.

I promise, however, to be present and willing at the June event on this very same course the following month for the state championships.  I am fully convinced that with a decent crew we can win that championship.  Totally believe that.  You crazy racing snakes head up there on the 10th and see what's what.  If one of you feels strong and does well, deal, I'll be your super domestique in June and rip the fucking legs off of all who stand in your way before setting whoever up for that final climb.  If no-one thinks it totally suits them, I'll put my hat in the ring.

Go up there and crush that shit dudes.  Let me know the score and figure out a plan for us so we can win that championship!
I will say that if it works out, I like my chances on that finishing gradient a whole lot.
@Adam I am appreciating your gumption.
@Ryan ride the 3's and crush it, that race is designed for you.
Who's in with me in the 4s? I'd already be registered if I wasn't expecting some kind of entry credit from Dieter for the Battenkill mishap.

pretty bummed, wish i could, but i have a wedding that weekend. :(
@Jeff  I'm thinking of doing the 4's. Looking at the course profile the first half of the race is made for me.

Me too. Downhill!
I'm out. My son has a game that day. Going to race the L&C cup instead.

Entry Credit.

Good one.
F Dieter's races
Dieter just sent the "lost" group an email for partial credit on any future races this year.  Too bad Hunter is on the same weekend as my best friend's bachelor party.
"Partial?"
Fiddy bucks credit toward any 2014 race. Doesn't make up for the lost placings, but monetarily it is fair enough. I may do the Hunter race in summer since I can't make this one...
Start times changed and P12 field eliminated.
Hmmm... He should throw you guys a freebie for next years BK
$50 seems fair enough to me. I have raced in events that ended more f'ked up than that one field with no recompense whatsoever.
At the end of the day Dieter is trying to do the right thing, while being constrained by the fact that putting on road races in the US is freaking difficult and extremely expensive, so he doesn't have a stash of cash laying around to refund, without being personally out of pocket.
Heck, organising a circuit race on a loop closed to traffic is challenging enough, let alone doing one on the public roads.

I may consider doing the one later this summer, may 10 is too soon
So... is anyone planning on going? Reg ends on Wednesday, but before I put any money down, I'd like to see who else would wanna race.

maybe he should just promote fondos.
Anyone in for the 4s?
@Wes - this race is over an hour long... ;-)
I am registered for the 4's but i am not 100% sure I will race. I am currently down in Austin for the psychedelia festival.
I just got notice that the 3 and 4 fields are now combined
