In the spirit of sportsmanship, teammates don't leave, they sometimes just wear different kit (that's almost as good as ours!).
See you guys on the road.
Ros, so many questions. 1) will you design us a dark side kit before you go? 2) How will your designer oriented brain handle the skittles 2000 kit? 3) will you be racing T-town?

Also remember KCC group rides are always open to friends so if you are in need of a good group ride...you know where to find us.
Happy Spring everyone.

I've already told a few of you, but I wanted post it here as well that I'm leaving Kissena and the East Coast in the next couple of weeks, relocating to the Bay Area. As someone new to bike racing, it's been quite an experience over the past year and a half, and I'd like to thank everyone for sharing their wisdom and words of support. Don't know if I'll resume racing, but it's been a great experience being a member of the club. Feel free to look me up if you're ever out in the Palo Alto / Menlo Park area.

Sad to see you go Tim. Thanks for your teamwork — always impressed by your tenacity at last season's Floyd races! I hope you got a lot out of your time with Kissena. Good luck in bike paradise.
Tim, we had good times at Branchbrook last year. You'll be in prime cycling country out there, enjoy, and stay in touch!
Best of luck in everything Tim. There are a few ex-Kissenas out that way and from what I here they are living the high life.
Sorry to see you go Tim.  Good luck in Bay Area.  Try racing again out there.  It's totally different than New York.
Haven't done a race yet, but I will be doing it this year in FGXracing colors. It's been a good run, 5+ years. Kissena was my first and only team, Al, Mattio, WDC and others being the lovely inspiration to join after starting as an unattached 5. Lots of great memories, just time to move on and try something new.

Ah, Mattie, you can leave the team, but your number is still in my phone for the next time I get lost on the "Mattie 3 hour Extension" of the Orchard ride! Best of luck to you this year!
Good luck Mattie. See you on the road.
Aw man! The donuts at Piermont will be slightly less delicious now. Good luck with the new team.
Best of luck Mattie. See you out there.
Good luck Mattie, you won't be forgotten.

Saltier, from the tears.

Good luck with the FGX posse Mattie, super nice bunch of blokes. Tell the truth though, it was the endless supply of Perogies wasn't it?
I don't think I ever officially announced this, but as I've now both moved and joined a new team I figured I'd officially say goodbye.

Thank you all for the help in kicking off my first racing season last year. I grew a ton as a cyclist, and really fell in love with the sport thanks in part to the help of riding and racing with teammates.

I now live in San Francisco, and am racing for a team called Dolce Vita Freewheel. If any of you are ever in the Bay Area, feel free to reach out for a ride or a beer. My email address is thejesselash@gmail.com.

Good luck this season!

Enjoy dude...
Great riding with you Jesse. Best of luck out there.
Jesse, good luck with new team. Stay upright.
Jesse, I will be calling in the ride and the beer soon.
Good luck Mattie.  See you at the shop.

Good luck Jesse.  Nice riding with you (once.  I think : ).
Best of luck Tim. Nice riding with you.
Hey. Since I've spent more time trawling (not trolling) the Kissena Forum than actually training (let alone racing) in the last couple of years I've decided to leave the club.  It's been a genuine pleasure to have been a Kissena for 10+ years. Thanks to you all. Please say hello when you see me out on the road and let me draft off of you (for old time's sake). (I'll either be wearing slimming black or maybe a Ride Brooklyn jersey from time to time.)

Very best,
N.

If you;re interested in mountain biking please feel free to stay in touch at neilxross@yahoo.com

P.S.-Please don't shut me out of the Forum quite yet as I'll be posting a bunch of kit--most of which I'll be happy to give away to needy brethren/sisteren (?).  (There may be a couple of NIB pieces that I'd prefer to sell.)
This is bullshit Neil!!! You are the only one who "likes" my posts...how am I gonna earn more badges now??
Neil, no.
Neil - it's ok to just trawl around the forums.. no need to leave. But thanks for all the advice on xc mtb the past couple of years.
Oh Yaks. Those "likes" have come from my helper monkey.  He'll continue those in my absence, so no need for concern

Man! Neil, it's been real. I'll see you in the park.
