ooh, I've actually got some ideas for a kit.

I'm in.

Also, having scrolled up, I love that you guys had one at Grassroots before I joined the club. That bar has a special place in my heart.
I'm keen, been meaning to check out Hotbird.

That is one of those bars that was better before the smoking ban went into effect. With the thick pall of smoke you couldn't tell that the place was disgusting, and you couldn't smell the bathrooms. Sadly either I've gotten older or keener senses but I find dive bars harder to get excited about anymore.
@Dan: By "special place in my heart," I meant, "first and only NYC bar I've ever shut down." Promptly at four, they turned on the lights, revealing the cruel reality of my circumstances. Closing time in this town is ludicrous. Never again.
So is Girl Talk going to DJ the Happy hours now?
I will likely have to work late, but will try to get out in time to join for a couple beers. -Norm
If you helped with the 4's KOM this year be sure to come out I'll be spending the winnings at the happy hour. I think MIke and John are going to do the same, that could be a lot of free drinks! Also any non-drinkers thinking of coming out I'll bring something non-alcoholic to share just whisper me that your coming.

Joe
I'll be there. What's the bicycle friendliness of this place?
See you all on wednesday
Are girls allowed?
I think Leeroy commandeered Jeff's PowerBook.
Oh yeah, I meant "Does Hot Bird allow dogs?", since that's the only way girls are gonna come near us. HAHA!
Jeff,

There's no girls, but in your case we'll make an exception.

ZING!!!!
I'm not post-op yet. I haven't earned that distinction.
see youALL @7pm. -h
Come out for this everyone! I got some cash by selling owens my caad10 prize so ill throw some down to thank you folks for all the hard work this season!
Just a reminder. We are meeting around 7pm at Hot Bird TONIGHT. This is going to be an evening where you get to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Some of 2011's road season's winnings are going towards paying for drinks tonight, so come and hoist a few with your teammates and celebrate the successful road season.

Anybody in for diner beforehand? Ideas for nice places in the area?
I plan to come through w Maria around 8
@ Clayton:

there are tons of nice places just south of Atlantic on Vanderbilt stroll over there and I'm sure you'll find something. I'm sure there are also great picks on the Clinton Hill side as well. Cornelius has $1 oysters all day and Woodwork has some great slider and other gastro-pub stuff.
Can't make it tonight fellas. Have fun!
Those following the clothing order thread know this, but for the rest I am having a Kissena party at my house in Middle Village this Saturday. Many last came by bike and rode caravan style from GAP, 35min ride at normal street pace.

The grill will be fired up at 2pm! Also if you are planning on attending please let me know so I can have an approximate head count. Also, Also this is open to family members so please bring those babies, children, brides and friends. This is a good way to close the gap in "married to a bike" relationships.

Please whisper back if you coming so I could have enough meat & veggies.

I'll be riding out with my girlfriend Teresa. Pace will be leisurely. We'll leave GAP at 1:30pm. Let me know if there are any takers.

Eric
Takers? For the ride or Teresa?
English humour is an acquired taste.
She's been known to shatter even the toughest double butted spokes with a single swipe of her frame pump. Watch it buddy. Plus, she's got CO2 as backup. Be wary. She's like a pit viper with those.
