Very quiet here, I take it there will be no additional pedalers. I'll swing by GAP at 1:30 to make sure. Or text me if you plan to join us: 347.693.3133.
Hey all,

I'm actually going to be driving out from the Park Slope area, leaving about 2:00. I'm picking up Jeff W in Boreum Hill. Have room for 2 more if you're in the general area.

I'll check the board again about 1:45.

Jim
Hey guys,

I usually dont use this space to advertise work stuff, but I genuinely feel like some of you might be interested. We are screening "Cyclocross Meeting" this Thursday (29th) at Bicycle Habitat. We are going to have some sales rep from at least specialized and Sram, so that usually means free stuff.

If you want to come out, I think they are doing an optionial RSVP so drop me a line and I will make sure you are on the list.

email = chris@bicyclehabitat.com

Trailer = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3s6hLeze0n4
three questions:

will there be beer?

how long is the movie?

does the screening start promptly at 8?
just to confirm since you said "this" thursday.

"this" thursday (as in today??) or next thursday the 29th ?

thanks.
bike parking?
bump
Oh dang, sorry for the delay.

Yes free beer,

No it doesnt start right at 8, there is a bit of dog and pony/what is cyclocross/ look at this BIKE/ blah blah blah talk before. screening prolly starts at 9.

If you still want to go, and they give you trouble at the door (they probably wont), tell them Chris Bloome invited you and you will be good.

ps. bike parking, we have it.
Hey Kissena!

Save the date for Sunday December 4th for the Kissena Year End Party. More details to come.

Also send nominations my way for year end awards!

Mike
Whoop!

Looking forward to this. What costumes?
Since the Horseshoe scramble is earlier in the day, you are welcome to come in your muddy cross duds. No doubt, some will get their freak on, and this has been ever more popular. At the same time, playing it straight could be even more transcendant.
The party is on!

Sunday December 4th at 6pm. Sahara Restaurant at 2337 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11223

Cost will be $20 per person all inclusive.

It will be a great time. Please bring your WAGs and kids.

Michael
Please RSVP here, include yourself, guests, etc.

Or do we define our own ?
@ Josh. Feel free to nominate anyone for anything.

gymkata
the shriveled worm award (for completing the coldest, wettest race)
talks most, says least (prob keith)
talks least, says most (again, prob keith)
best car companion

if the board needs help making construction paper/pipe cleaner awards, please let me know . . .

i own a glue gun, a bedazzler, and tons of stick-on googly eyes
I can donate a Buttoneer to the cause.

FYI - the "can't pull, am fat"'comment has to be jeff Owens.

It just has to be.
Some nominations:
Best Teammate - Josh Caesar, Marc Bertucco
Best Team Cheerleader (Motivator) - Mike Perlberg
Breakout Performance - Mike Perlberg - L&C Cup
Hardmen Award (tie) - Everyone who did Beacon CX - Marc, Ben, Perlberg, Ragot. AND Second L&C Cup in the 35 degree rain - Perlberg / Ragot. The same after race feelings of shivering / shuddering were felt...
Best fake injury (just so he didn't have to ride home from Cunningham Park and so he could score some prescription painkillers): Jeff Owens
What mockery?
The glue is curing on the stuffed monkey & tennis ball combo at home...
