Tad may be strong, but he also has not insignificant brain farts. Sometimes he seems to lose control of his bike for a second or two and then remembers where he is and all is well. Be careful.

I've seen the Tad fall asleep move before. It cracks me up.

I think he'll be fine in a 11 mile TTT.

Are we meeting at the GAP gap for TTT 4pm? I'm not going near any basements.

We got second in the men's A TTT. we were somehow beaten by a 2 man team (even though it said 3 riders) of Ken Harris and someone else.

The ITT results were not posted. Despite the fact that they went off 2 hours before the TTT.

A TTT is a fundamentally different race than an ITT. Is there a rule anywhere allowing for what he did? If not, I believe a sternly written letter is in order. Wins don't come along often.

It was fun. Tad probably took the strongest and longest pulls followed by me and then lance (who was still hung over after drinking two cases of beers and 3 bottles of champagne the past 2 nights)

It wasn't physically hard until the last half lap (shoulda done the ITT but I didn't know I'd be able to use Jules' awesome rocketship until after reg closed. Thanks, Jules!), just total novice lack of coordination between us.  Lost too much time on corners.  But it was super fun and we rotated well in places.  Just need more familiarity with each other.  Everyone looked good!

Yeah, Ken Harris dragging a junior along FTW is lame.  All they really had to do was have him drag TWO people along and I'm sure he, er, THEY, would have still won.

But oh well, 2nd place with a grand total of about 20 minutes of practice ain't bad.  Paid for the reg fee!

Congrats on winning the TTT and to all who flogged themselves into a lather in the heat.

Sounds like a very poorly organised event though. The ITT results should have been available immediately after the last rider finished. I did events 25 years ago (pre laptops and cell phones) that could keep a timely leader board during the event let alone at its conclusion.

I now feel pretty pleased that I chose to drink myself into a stupor last night and sleep in until 11am instead.

Honestly, if two of us would have gone balls-out, we could have beaten them.  Having to rotate and work with multiple riders is much more difficult than 2 guys exchanging pulls on that course in a race that short.  I'm not saying Harris is a slouch, I'm just saying that their time is a rather misleading.
