CONGRATULATIONS!

I don't follow the central park thread so I almost missed this.  Time to out the Family Men thread...
I'm going around and around and around in CP tonight.  I'll be there 6:45.  Say hello if you're around.
Hey Phil,

Going to try and drag my ass out there. Might be around 7ish though. I'll holler if I see ya.
Thanks Jules!

I'll deff be checking out the Family Men thread now. Thanks for the heads up.
@Graydon - yup, I'll keep my eyes open for you.
Late notice.  I'll be doing a few laps today in CP.  Getting there around 630.
Going to do "the double" today (ie cp am+pm). Easy spin starting 7pm ish. Let me know if you are in.
Anyone up for a few laps tonight in CP?  Say around 7?  No FBF anyway.
@Phillip - if you're planning to make this a regular thing I'll keep a spare bike at the office...
Yeah.  Since the road season is winding down, ill start riding in the park.  2-3 times a week.  I got nothing else to do anyway.
Sounds good, might be nice to switch it up.  We can set up a regular schedule for the off season and see who joins as well.
Agreed. I'll post for each ride.
Im riding tom over the gwb early in the morning, and after the tour of the catskills and tokeneke on a compact crank, im slapping one on for good. Thanks JP for lending me one, ill be returning it shortly.
...not the best for park riding but ill join u fellas soon.

Sur la... "demi plaque?"
Exacte, sur la mini-plaque.
^that's right b-atches, when it gets hilly, "SUR LA MINI-PLAQUE!!!!"

Anything sounds good when you scream it in all caps :)
lol...i think i'll just mumble it to myself crying as i grind up slowly to the top chasing 160+ pound guys crushing it, im so over road racing right about now.

Nice cool night in CP tonight. Normally I don't do intervals there, because of the crowds and road undulations, but my workout just was not really trainer conducive, and I was afraid of bailing on the effort altogether. Just trying to keep the legs turning. Cross is so damn close to NOW!
Any one up for some CP openers this afternoon, kind of now — txt me 646.785.2107

i was just out there tonight ~7:30 and there was a group of like 10 dudes in the same shimano kit, many on tri bikes with deep dish wheels.  any insight as to who these folks are?  were?  will be?  some tri club?  a group of 4 of them totally dropped me like it was hot.  although i guess that's easier in a rotating group.  some of my pride remains.
Were some of them overweight?  Ive seen a pack of guys in time trial bikes drafting each other on some nights.  Usually Tuesdays.  No clue who they are.  But i avoid them like the plague.
I see these dudes around a lot. Always in full TT rigs. Sometimes in Piermont, often sitting in CP. Never at races...although I don't go to TTs so...
Alyosha and I were out this evening, some dude in fetal position near the bottom of 110berg, didn't look good. Brendan/Marc we should try organize some set rides each week — how about a Tuesday night group ride?
Oh and Alyo made himself barf on the very last 12 second interval.
yes phillip, some of them were heavy for cyclists.  but not so much the guys that dropped me.  for my own ego, i will reemphasize that they were rotating pulls while i rode off to the side. i didn't want to be that guy who jumps a group without asking.  and i didn't feel like asking.

i guess i haven't been riding hard lately because i too felt nauseous last night after sprinting to catch them at the bottom of the hill, which i did, but at the great cost of feeling sickly.

not sure i can commit to a regular tuesday night thing; i usually commute home with a big uncomfortable backpack.  last night was abnormal.  what time are you guys thinking and about how many laps?  i could probably be convinced.

7-8/8.30pm Tuesdays? Alternately we could do an early morning ride. Wednesdays not so hot because Computrainer. JP has 10am ride Friday.
I can't do next tuesday, but after that, yes. Tuesdays at 7 at . . . that entrance that I don't remember the name of on Central Park West where the marathon finish was
Let's try for that then... Riding tonight (Weds) at 7pm — text me if interested 646.785.2107
Give 'em a little of this the next time, eh?

Gonna go for a quick spin CP 3-4pm.
10 degrees C, just like being in Cali.
Central Park not bad, 70% dry road.
