@Marc
That's good advice. I especially like the idea that for her first race, I shouldn't race.....not something I would've thought of.  I'll be her support crew and get her up to speed till she's comfortable. The Westwood Velo Race at Harriman Sate Park which has a Cat 4 only Women's field on 9/29 looks promising. Thanks.
Where/when the heck are Cyclesmart & NBX?  Google Fail.
hotlist and Ragot - thanks for the helpful (marriage saving) info. Looking forward to Providence and several other.

Jules - I found info on the Shimano series here: http://www.nepcx.com/races/
Adam Myerson and the rest of the UCI cross promoters worked really hard to try to avoid conflicts last year and got it pretty dialed in. That's why Holy Week was especially holy last year. There was still a UCI conflict with Cyclesmart International, but at least it wasn't a regional one. The bulk of the super-pros went to Cincinnati last year instead of hanging in New England. Honestly, they'll probably do the same thing.

Nice find PG!  I haven't planned any further than end of October... racing every weekend sometimes more than once a day has a way of sneaking up and slapping you with a big old
NOPE

He's getting ready.
And practice

If Luka is going anywhere as a 'crosser, he needs to get out of the rainjacket and experience cx as it should be felt--wet and wild.
Anybody else have CX flashbacks in the windy rain today?
Well. We went to the park he got muddy, but given he wasn't racing he work the raincoat.
Lots of red bar tape in that basement!

Someone buy this:

That bike is a deal. Just too small for me.

How did Luka do that on his left leg?
7 year old Cat 5 can do wonders!
Anyone interested in sharing a rental house for the Gran Prix of Gloucester on Sept 28/29? The area (Gloucester, Rockport) has a lot of interesting different sorts of accommodations but pretty picky requirements (no kids, or 3 night minimums). I've been having fun combing through listings... there's everything from beachfront shacks to great big homes. Even the end of the season can fill up quickly. Let me know!

PS,  I make a mean breakfast.
@Lisa - I'm in for that.
@Lisa, I would also be interested.
