ANNOUNCING - CX Workshop on Saturday, August 25.
Time - 8-10 am - Cunningham Park in Queens. Meet by the Tennis Courts. (google map it).
How to get there - if anyone else is going apart from Whitey and myself, then we'll need to create a cue sheet and let people meet and ride from GAP at 7am.
If the group is big enough, I'll lead the ride if I have to.
My plan is to work on mount / dismount technique, handling technique, shouldering technique. Short and longer courses will be used to work on these things.
Riding on the MTB trails is optional.
I also plan on shaking down some wheels, so people can try out different tire combinations if they'd like to (and ride 9 speed). I also can bring some clinchers if people want to try different ones.
Please let me know via the forum if you want in.
Also in mentoring.

Ordered a G&T frame from Van Dessel . . . eta early Sept.
Just mounted my 'cross tires.
Wife is in the back poking around on her travel sites finding us a suitable B&B in Northampton (Nov 2-3). She wants to know whether to book 1 or 2 nights.
I'm ready for a new season.

Nittany is filling up. I think 234 has 99 people.

On calendar, though I removed the bit about the trails because I know you have no intention of going there.
After riding around the course 150 times non-stop made for an excellent venue to try different tyres (and bikes).
Should I also post the wedding on the calendar in case people want an excuse not to come?

I'm signed up for Sunday Nittany 9am race (can't do saturday) as well as Whirlybird. I have room for 3 others in the car. Let me know.
I'll probably head to Town Hall on 10/6 and Highland Park on 10/28.
Definitely Northampton 11/3 and 11/4, Staten 11/10 and Supercross 11/18.
