Car Seat: Graco Snugride until 35 pounds.
Stoller: Bob Revolution, not the Ironman. You can lock/unlock the front wheel on the Rev, but not the Ironman. There is an adaptor for the Snugride too; early on you're going to need that carseat in the jogging stroller.
Backpack: I love my ErgoBaby Carrier. They actually have to be about 4 months before they fit it, but there is an infant insert that can accomodate much smaller kids. When they get bigger you can ride 'em on the back; same carrier. The framepacks all look great, but truth be told, the age-window that they're useful for is just too small. One alternative that allows an Ergo-like carry much younger is the Beco Gemini.

I know we've got guys in the club who can make magic happen in the movies, courtrooms, and on the printed page. But do we have an tax experts?

I'm strictly a Turbo Tax type of guy, but I've heard that in some circumstances it's actually better for married folks to file separately. I'd like to find out what those circumstances are, please.

Mmm....I think maybe never mind. Everything I'm reading online suggests it's mostly better to file jointly if happily married to a responsible person.

When I think teaching at my school is tough, I think about Bushwick Community High School. It is where we send our kids who have gotten to 11th or 12th grade with less than 10 credits and are ready to drop out.

They do some amazing work, but the data says they sucks.

I say, fuck the data. Without this school, countless kids would be left without a last chance.

USAC: small change to the Ca5 to Cat 4 upgrade. You need to *finish* 10 races, not just start them.

"The participation rule for upgrading from cat 5 to 4 has been rewritten to specify that riders must finish 10 races rather than just start them."

There is a ?new? designator for uploading of cat 5 results called "DNP" - Did Not Place - so that you can get results uploaded that may not have been uploaded before .

I wonder if anyone is going to try to define "finish". Is it do the laps and cross the line ? Or is it finish with the pack ?
