Love this move
Once more, just in case you need to see it BIGGER
For you numbers people, my brother rode with a friend of Joe Dombrowksi.

She was saying that he's gonna be the GC guy for trek livestrong development team during tour of utah and one other. He tested 6.6watts/kg at training camp in austin a few weeks back. If he weighs 60kg (maybe a bit more) that is 396watts. I am 75% of the power and 150% of the weight of Joe. Apparently, he's real nice and humble, when they've gone on small group rides he'll slow up and climb with her and tell her she's doing great.

Will you do that for me, Joe Mueller?
There is no thread I dare put this in... and yet...

I think I have found the end of the internet.

Match, set and game.
How much do I love the Kissena team? Well, tonight I'm going to a PR event with the wifey where I will be hob-nobbing with among others, a company owner who has a history of sponsoring cycling teams. As such, the full Grizzly Adams beard is going through some major trimming at the teeth of my industrial strength electric razor--so if your power dims a little in the next few minutes you know why. And I'm a little sad about that. I loved Grizzly Adams.

Shoot, if I knew you were going to trim back the fully Grizzly Adams, I would have lined up a few more events to pimp you out for Kissena for.
Interesting videos about stealing bike in the city, and I just had my handlebars stolen last week!

I think "Malik" rides for Major Taylor...
Hey I just had a thought that popped into my head a ways back. As we're gathering new sponsors, the jersey's are going to need a refresh. One thing fun that one of my previous clubs did was put a little "inside joke" graphic on the back of the collar. One year it was a drawing of Simpson's Mr. Smithers. Anyway, I thought it might be fun to get one of the club's artists/designers to do some kind of 'Khan!" graphic. Line drawing, funky "screaming" font, not sure what would work better.

Or maybe it's a silly idea. Just thought I'd put it out there.
I second that. A previous (un-named club) had an "Are you riding or are you hiding?" on the inside of the collar...
I would enjoy putting 'Do you like my calves?' or 'Do my calves look big in this?, on the butt of our shorts, or somewhere similar.
KHAN!
"First Khan!"
Gymkata!
Gymkata is gonna win. I can tell
When I was a competitive gymnast our coaches had these manuals with outline type drawings in a book filled with our routines. Flairs on the pommel horse is a dynamic image:

I feel like gymkata is a cat 4 squad joke that I was never let in on!

Whappen!?!
We could tell you, but you'd have to downgrade :P
Not sure where else to post this, but this seems as good a place as any. And I'm not usually the negative Nellie type but.....

Sad to say that my 3 1/2 year-old daughter and I were nearly "blowed up" this morning by someone in a full Kissena kit making a sharp left turn from 6th Avenue onto 9th Street in the Slope. We were halfway across the street, with the walk sign, when whoever it was (I honestly didn't see their face - or I'd have sent them a private message) came screaming past, less than 2-feet in front of us, cornering like it was the last 500 meters of Grant's Tomb. A serious Cat 6 move.

We are trying to IMPROVE people's perceptions of bike riding/racing, not make it worse. Save the racing for races. Take your time. Be aware of your fellow pedestrians. And please....don't crush toddlers on their way to pre-school.

(Cross-posting in the Kissena Dad's thread....)
@David - Sorry to hear that, man. You're correct in every way. We should all put our money where our mouths are and try to be the good examples out there. It's almost impossible to get a training effect going to and from the park in the Slope, so take it easy all.
Would it be fair game if he was racing a strava segment?

Jk, let's be safe out there. Yes, we do need to be model riders, as we are probably the most visible brooklyn team out there, and it is just the right thing to do.
Uncool...
Ok, Now I am scared of crashes...

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/barredo-out-with-broken-arm-from-e3-harelbeke

That was, however, probably not Barredo's most painful injury. “He had apparently taken a hit on the groin and could hardly walk,” Breschel continued. “When he pulled his pants down, his testicles were completely blue and swollen to the size of oranges.”
Plus, as far as I'm concerned, buzzing pedestrians with small children in crosswalks violates probably the only rule Kissena has regarding membership. Don't be a douche.
it was probably Robertson . . . that douche

Found this when looking for some legit stuff in text on cycling by JP.

Didn't realise you were such a free spirit JP. Wish you would take your top off in my apartment :(
