Hi,

My name is Katie, and my partner Kevin and I are two mobile design students at General Assembly and lifelong bikers / fans of the sport. We’re currently designing an app that will allow fans of cycling to better follow and financially support their favorite teams, or friends and family who are involved in the racing circuit.

Given that Kissena is one of the most established and prestigious NYC amateur cycling clubs, we'd love to hear your insight on the sport and your experiences. We want to create an app that cyclists and fans will actually use!

Are you free at 2pm this Thursday for a brief interview? It’d be a half hour at most, and we'll meet you wherever is convenient (or speak by phone).

We’re also pretty flexible and can work around your schedule. Let us know if another time works better!

Thank you!
Katie and Kevin
I can get down. I'll take it.
Speaking of getting down, what's up bros?

Seriously? Cool. In next week's news, Vlad buys altitude tent.

I've got a head full of snot, but is that over 10 minutes of 400+ watts? WTF? (I guess we'll all be fighting for Vlad's wheel this spring)

This struck me as a sad tweet:

Looking for post cycling career careers. Need to decide where to relocate this year. Good people, mtns, sun. Ideas? Options? Opportunities?

Yup. Many lessons to be learned kids.
Jesus Vlad put that thing back in your pants you're scaring the children!

It takes more than 320watts to frighten my children

Calibration looks to be a little off

Might be time to swap out the battery
Thats totally not what she said.

Cause Canadians don't need no batteries.

Maybe a little less time with the bacon/syrup and a little more on the trainer might do you some good

I was thinking.

So first, thats never good. And second. Hmmm.

Never trainer. Always outside. Is it worth the effort of riding twice a
week...

Or should we stay in and drink grand cru.

Its a horrible dichotomy.

I know what you mean about the trainer but last time I checked, outside sucks.

Kickr is pretty sweet too.
all this oxygen going to your legs is clearly starving your brain.

Hey, one of my friends, a magazine writer is looking for some info from real cyclists. My brain is currently operating on 1/2 pitcher of margarita, so I'm useless. But I know we've got better stuff for her than what she's posted. Here's her post/request:

"To all of my road cycling and mountain biking friends (for a fun story I'm working on): Give me a surefire sign that you're a cyclist! Whether it's bad tan lines, grease tattoos, or starting your Sunday morning rides when others are rolling in from the bars, I'm looking for the stuff that bonds us all as riders. Thanks!"

I beg your pardon, but during a blizzard, I believe a Cyclocross Bike with lightly inflated tires is indeed an emergency vehicle.

I may be riding my cross bike to work at the hospital tomorrow.
I rode my mtb this morning to work. (I live in Astoria and work in midtown). I swapped my rear tire with more aggressive knobs and lowered both tires to about 10 psi. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It helped that there was minimal traffic on the road though.

This storm was a joke.
Phil, instagram or it didn't happen!
