That's nice to know Jules. I use the Reported app for vehicles in the bike lane. It is a bit of a drag if they decide to contest the fine—multiple calls from the city and you have to be available via phone when they appear in court. But small price to pay for protecting the lanes and I'm less tempted to get into it with the people parked there.

Hey, does anyone know of a good watch repair place in NYC?

I used to find some good ones at cobblers, for some reason. That hasn't been the case for a while. The last few I used were pretty bad at watch repair. I heard that pawn shops can be good.

It's for both digital and analogue watches.

What kind of work do you need? Simple battery replacements or stuff like servicing and/or repairing mechanical movements?

Battery replacements. I thought they were simple, but I've had a few do bad jobs and not seal up the back after installing a new battery.

I hope he is fine. We're in the midst of the second great wave of doping, and he's on the team with the (ahem) "greatest" stage bike racer ever... it's hard not to wonder if the old go-juice is just a little too thick.

I’m gutted to hear that Richard Moore of the Cycling Podcast has died.

The podcast has been my favorite source for coverage of the background of the sport. While I’ve never met any of them, listening to Richard, Lionel, Daniel and others in podcast form for years leads me to feel like I known them. I feel for their loss.

I'd like to find a scanning program/app that can read business cards and input the info into my database so I can toss all these little pieces of paper into the recycling.

I'm working on a Mac desktop and iPhone. I use Apple's native Contacts program for my database.

Any suggestions?

I used to keep a monster stack of cards at my desk. Then I put them in by hand. Now I’ve got 1000’s of names in my phone and I can’t remember who the hell any of them are.

Pio Pio is a great Peruvian place.
Segimmo Salumeria has the best sandwiches, this place is tiny.
And then the Hudson Yard Mall has a few good options, of which, Mercado Little Spain is likely the best one, and a pretty good tourist stop too.
