You may nominate yourself, or you may nominate someone else. Simply post your nomination in this thread. If you have been nominated and wish to accept, you may post your acceptance in the thread, but you must also post a statement in the “Nominee Statements” thread.

If you have been nominated for a Board position and wish to accept your nomination, please post your statement here.

Please be sure to post your name and the position you are running for at the top or your statement, eg

"Scooty McBoogers - Director of Hammerless Bottom Bracket Installation."

In addition to why people should vote for you, be sure to include some information about yourself for those who don't know you, such as, what do you do for a living? How long have you been in the club? What is your racing category, etc.

Here is a sample statement from past KCC president Stacy Jensen to get you started:

Stacy Jensen - President

I would like to be the President for Kissena because I am very proud to represent Kissena every time I ride or race, and would like to support the team in a more substantial way to ensure a positive future for the Club. I have thoroughly enjoyed racing for the team on the road and the track, recruiting for the team, and expanding the team's presence in NYC and the region through racing and communication with other clubs. I served as Membership Director of the team last year and was proud to see the team's membership grow over the year, in part to our great success stories at the races as well as to our image as a well-respected and genuinely nice and fun Club. As President I would like to ensure the continued expansion of membership, sponsorhip, women's presence, track support, team camaraderie, and the positive regional presence of Kissena. Thanks!

Thanks Ryan. My goals as an "at large":

Working with the Kissena hive mind I'd like to develop a Kissena club manual (orientation, racing primer, riding basics, resources, club concept etc).

Improve communication tools. Improve the forum and get more traffic to our www site! Organize some clinics.
