@david. I'm in.
here's more details....let's invade the joint!

Every Wednesday night at Brooklyn Fish Camp you can get:
all you can eat peel n eat shrimp
french fries
hush puppies
all you can drink modelos
DUDE! I am SO showing up in sweaty kit next week... possibly shirtless
I may have to join y'all for this weird seafood/drinking fiasco.
New event; the tempo/shrimp-boat slam...
yo yo yo, down w/fishCamp, beer&puppies!

now this IS training 'harry style' ride hard/eat hard/plenty!!!!!!
so, conundrum IS do i join the post6p feast then ride 7:45p cyclotraining kona hammer fest (better bring an air bag) or can we assemble a post 7:45p contingent &hammer shrimps till 10p close of 'fishcamp'?

ps, shout-out to jMalcomson for calibration detail, if we can get this straightened-out &determine actual relative avg#'s (131 vs 234watts) may file request for cat. up-grade vs cat. down-grade as ericR suggested week before.

&BTW, note last wed. night Norm, actually, dismounted checked a couple emails remounted and still finished 3minutes ahead of pack.

reminder - we have 4 weeks of 7:45pm slots available! Now with an amazing discount of $5, so $65 instead of $70 to pick up all four weeks.

Otherwise, we have a 7:45pm slot open this Wednesday, someone should grab it! Contact me and let me know.

thanks :)
Posted By: JoshuaChey Kissena - we have a spot for the 7:45 Wed night computrainer opening up for the remaining 4 weeks in February. Cost is $70.00 (17.50 a week) - payable in advance.

Contact me asap if you want it, otherwise I will contact the usual suspects from outside of the club.

thanks.
I'm in the 7:45 class and looking to move up to the 6 class. Anyone want to offer up their spot?
I'll take 745. merci.
anyone want my 6 oclock sesion on feb 22 I will be leaving for california!
Anyone want my 6PM session? cash / beer / barter accepted!

If no takers, I will show. Let me know.
My sesh is up for grabs too; still battling the head cold :(
Will take video post processing instruction for barter...
I'm out of town this week so my 7:45 is available tonight. See you all next week (unless Heathrow has 1 cm of snow and is shut down)
I'm not going to be able to make it to my 7:45 slot this evening either. Please let me (neilxross@yahoo.com) and Josh know if you'd like it. FREE!
I'll take Jules's 6 p.m. sesh. My 7:45 spot is officially up for grabs.
looking like a lonely 7:45 session tonight. can we get a head count? i think, given all this, that maybe tonight is not the night for scrimps and modelos....
I am in for 7:45 unless a 6pm seat opens up

How long is the shrimp and beer thing on for ? just wed nights ?
not sure, josh. i'll call the fish camp this afternoon and see if i can get the DL.
@josh...you can have my 6pm...can't make it tonite
actually, how many 6pm slots are up for grabs tonite? jeff took jules'. but mike's is still avail so maybe josh takes that one? so does anyone want mine?
confirmed - I emailed Mike and he is making alternate plans - so I am going to go early and take his 6pm/

Mitch's 6pm slot is available for anyone that wants to sub in.

My 7:45pm slot is available for anyone that wants to sub in (in addition to a couple of other 7:45 spots)

We might have a very lonely David Stearns at 7:45
sounds like me, harry, aly....norm? malcolmson with the double? bueller?
I could be down for some extra, would have to bust @ 8.45 though — I also ping'd the Saturday subgroup about 7.45 slots.
I want Mitch's 6pm if thats cool.
it sounds like it is
and another 7:45-er bites the dust!
something came up, can't make it tonight at all...sorry for the confusion if so.
Ouch. 6pm. Everything blurry.
John flatted. Vlad got dropeed. Ryan set new power numbers. My legs hurt. Recovery wine isn't the best idea. Tasty though.
The average on the computrainer was a lot different than my average on my own Garmin. Compu says 245. Garmin says 258 - an hour record for me.
The 7:45 session was sparsely attended but well-enjoyed, partly due to the Yello soundtrack provided by Harry's Pandora app: Grant, Harry, Dave Stearns, myself --and for spell, big John M. all pumping the pedals to classics like "Pumping Velvet", "Oh Yeah", and "Desire".

Observations on wattage this week, I setup trainer 3 according to Eric's protocol and --once again-- found my power numbers felt rather ballooned compared to my first few trainer sessions. Avg 271, on par with Eric and Nosson --I was working quite hard to get that. Maybe it's in the neighborhood of correct, I don't know as I have no power comparison... no meter of my own. Harry's power (I forget the number) seemed too low compared to the work that he was doing, so I think his #4 trainer might have been off --however, he had an awful tire-on-frame rub the surely absorbed a chunk of watts. Dave's power config seemed off too... trainer #7.

Meanwhile, for my post workout meal, I ate a tremendous bulb of endive, chased it with a copious quantity of olive oil --and following Eric's lead-- a glass of red wine. Oh, and for dessert, some apple sauce, choco protein powder (egg whites), and maple syrup --all whipped into the consistency of some cupcake icing. And Lord of the Chainrings, how much I do miss cupcakes!
