Who's signed up for tomorrow (besides me)?
I'm in.

I'm in.

We need a couple more for tonight. Get involved!
I can make it, but will one more person cut it?  I need to leave work in about 20 to give myself enough time.
I'm out tonight -- not able to leave work in time.

It's off for tonight. Couldn't get enough people :(
Head to Zwift island instead...?

We're done for the season for official KCC CompuTrainer sessions, but TriBy3 is still very much an option if anybody wants to do more there.

From Erik:

Going forward this year, if you do find that you want a one-off class, I'll keep the same rate and as long as you can get 5 riders in the door I'll run it. We have regular classes on Tuesday 6am, Thursday 7pm, Saturday 8am and Sunday at 9:45am (with a Sunday 8am class for another 2 weeks). Additionally, if anyone from Kissena wants to ride during those coached sessions, you are welcome to use the current reduced rate and sign into whatever classes you want.
A huge THANK YOU to Erik!!
Anyone fancy seeing if we can get this going for some time Saturday or Sunday?  Happen to be in town and seeing as snow is forecast...
It's baaaack ...

WINTER COMPUTRAINER 2016

This is the best way to train with your teammates when it's frozen and snowy outside. Ride together, sweat together, suffer together, and come spring ... WIN together. It's really that simple.

We're in business for the remaining Wednesday evenings in January and February. 7:15 p.m. at TriBy3 in Gowanus. And this year, we locked in an even cheaper price per session: $15!

Sign up and pay now to reserve your spot using the following links:

Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 7:15 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 7:15 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 7:15 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 7:15 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 7:15 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 7:15 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 7:15 p.m.

There are only eight slots per class, so snatch yours up quick!

A couple reminders:

Show up by 7:15 p.m. at the latest so we can set up and the session can begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.

Remember to bring dry clothes to go home in (or you'll freeze), a water bottle, a workout towel or two for your sweat, and a plastic bag for your wet kit. A snack for after wouldn't be a bad idea either. Expect the session to last around 70 minutes.
Is it possible to sell your reservation to a clubmate if you can't make a class you've signed up for?

Good question. The answer is yes. Just email Greg Close at TriBy3 and let him know who is taking whose spot. You'll have to handle the money part on your own, though.
Only two for this week's class so far. Get involved folks! CompuTrainer is fun, it's a great workout, and it breaks up the monotony of winter training. Sign up!
Seriously I almost enjoy computrainer sessions more than racing. You can pump up the jams, trash talk constantly, and have absolutely no chance of some idiot crashing you out!

I <3 computrainer w/teammates. If only I lived closer I'd be there every session.
I can't make it this week, but shall be in attendance after that. Like Dave said, love me some computrainer and such a good workout with teammates. If you have not done it I promise you will sweat more in this hour than any other time during the year.

Max, if you need to sell your spot for tomorrow evening, let me know (PM me).
I can't come this week but I'll try to make it to the rest of the sessions. Do these classes fill up quickly? I have to leave work an hour early to make it to these so I'll have to play it week by week and don't want to buy a bunch of sessions now but I also don't want them all to be sold out... thoughts?

In the same boat as you. Last year I signed up for everyone day of and got into all of them I wanted to attend.
There's generally space left day-of. In past years we filled up two sessions a week, though, so you never know.
Signed up for the 20th. See y'all there.
Three spots left for this Wednesday's CompuTrainer session! Git it while the gittin's good. Sign up here.

For those of you who don't know what CompuTrainer is, you bring your bike to the studio, hook it up to a special trainer, then basically have a "race" for about an hour. As you pedal, you watch a television screen in front to see where everyone is. What makes it interesting is that there is drafting, so it's not just a watts contest. You can see where you are on the course, how far you are behind the next rider, and how much power you are putting out (among other stats).

Sometimes it stays together for a sprint at the end, sometimes a break gets up the road with a chase behind, other times the field just shatters and everyone is in their own pain cave to the finish. No matter what, it's a great workout for everyone!

Here's a quick report from Yang last year.
