have fun y'all!

What's the parking situation at the party place? Is it worth driving?
It ain't the suburbs!  It's wiliamsburg on a Saturday night.  Unless you can find a lot, parking will probably be a pain.

A to the L! Great for sitting and reading.
The party is on a Sunday night therefore parking won't be a problem.
This is going to be a great party. We're looking at record attendance (75+) at a great venue. Plus #memes

Yeah, the event space looks this cool.....and cooler with everyone there on the 15th!

Brooklyn Winery Atrium

the only possible improvement?  we will lock our bicycles to the rafters.
December 15th, 9:00 p.m. Brooklyn Winery
Meanwhile...over at Foundation house...
Not to interrupt the screenshots, but what is the bike parking situation? Street? Or can we bring our precious inside?

Not sure about the ankles up...but from the ankles down, these are what I'll be pimping.  (Now available in 4-hole Speedplay drilling)

What is the generally accepted attire for this here shindig?
The usual Kissena-year-end outfit... pearl-white tophat, fuzzy sweater and a kilt.  If it's cold out you can go with the freshwater flippers instead of the deep sea variety.
I was going to rock this:

But since it's in Williamsburg, I'm probably going with this:

I am still rocking the shoes...but otherwise going "Full Dieter".  If you are speaking to me at the party and are unsure if I am listening, you can deduce that....
I will channel Brian Wilson from his glory days.

@Gwynna-The fingernails on #1 are a bit much, but if it's only the outfits you're talking about, either is fine--they're both right in the sweet spot between Super Patriotic Super Creepy to Weimar Berlin Super Creepy.

So the wife has some questions about the party...

1) Is this a dinner party, i.e. arrive at a set time, sit down and eat? Or is it more of a mill about, snacking on food passed by servers, whereby, I have to arrive early, and fight Yacks with a carbon fiber billy club so I can get a bite or two of spinach puffs before you ravenous beasts eat all the goods?

2) Is this a party were leaving early to get home to Manhattan by train before 3 in the morning to relieve our babysitter will result in a penalty like missing Yacks cut the wedding cake with a Kyocera Kyotop Damascus Ceramic Santoku knife?

PS. Punishment for JPs largely unhelpful response to my question about parking, is that I will make sure that I sit right next to him on the train and talk his ear off when he'd rather be reading the theater reviews from the New Yorker.
@Marc Hubs can best answer the food specifics but we're going to try and get the "festivities" such as carbon-shillelagh dueling and whatnot over with inside the first 90 minutes so hopefully an early departure will only rob you of precious time spent admiring Yak's fabian-like hair and an extra drink or three... that said, good gracious man, it's Hipsterville, not the Galapagos...
In a move that can only be described as "Benjamin Button-ish"...my hair has actually gotten thicker this off season.  This time of year allows for the implementation of follicle cross training and shampoo/conditioner intervals.  I have dialed in my periodization and tapering to peak for Saturday nights festivities.  I am eager to use my new race day combs.  I kept breaking the plastic combs and had to upgrade to these triple butted aluminum ones.
You mean "Titanium" right?

@Marc-

To answer questions for all:

1) Not a sit down- since we are many many many many people! Stand up good amount of snacks. If you need a gut bomb this isn't it but will be satisfying as was last year.  Beer and wine are available along with soft drinks.

2) I nor anyone can answer you "long night out on the town bender needs"!  We have the space from 6-9pm and after that........we can roll to a dive or wherever.

3)Parking- its the city, there are garages around the area but also street parking.  Would suggest Uber if drinking profuse amounts or public trans (L stop at Bedford is less that 3 min of slow walking).

Hope this helps! I'll send a final announcement out this evening.

Not that this is the same venue, but last year I'm pretty sure we left food on the tables/bar. No shortage even with the skinny guys trying to put on a layer of warming blubber for the long winter ahead (an area in which I have a good head start).

so I am super sick and wont be able to come to the party tonight. if someone needs my ticket for a plus one or something let me know....
I can't come tonight now either. Jules, since I bought TWO tickets accidentally, hoping someone can go ahead and use at least one of them! Happy holidays everyone!
Anyone want my spot?  Too much work.  Can't take the time.
Oy my liver!  Huge thanks to @Hubs for another fantastic venue and again to @Yang for such an awesome series of "visuals"

One awardee who couldn't manage to make it was Ross who has worked tirelessly to get our kit staying awesome, and for producing the amazing Club Champ and Irish National Champ versions.  @Ros has won a free Acme bike fit for all his hard work.
