Hey all, last call for POC. I will be submitting the order tomorrow morning so please get everything in by midnight. Thank you!
We'll be opening up the Kickr order any day now, start thinking about it! :)
Kickr order is live. Note that it's a separate tab in the POC order for everyone's convenience. (Thanks, Craig!)

PRICING

Kickr: $900 per unit with shipping (for 4-8 orders). If we get 9+ orders, price goes down to $850.

Snap: $460 per unit with shipping (for 4-8 orders). If we get 9+ orders, price goes down to $430.

We are hopeful Wahoo will honor the lower pricing if we hit 9+ units between the two different models.

Setting a deadline of Monday, 10/31 @ midnight. Temps are dropping, don't get caught without a trainer!

Thanks all!

Hi team! Happy Halloween!

We are at 8 trainers on the bulk order, anyone want to be the 9th and bump us into the better pricing bracket? Please put in your order by midnight today.

I'll update y'all in a day or two with the delivery date.

Kasia
...someone please spend $900 to save me $50! Or wait did we make it ?
I'll have an update soon!
Good news, guys & gals. We made the better pricing level. Kickrs expected middle of next week. I will let you know as soon as they are in so you can plan your pick up. A few of you have asked about payment - thank you! - credit card at time of pick up is best.

See you soon!
Hi folks, Wahoo tells me the Kickrs will land on Thurs or Fri this week. It's a freight company (not UPS or Fedex) so please wait for my confirmation :)
Hi all,

Unfortunately there's been a delay in shipping. The current estimate is Tuesday 11/15, fingers crossed there are no further delays.

It's a perfect storm of new warehouse/new freight company over at Wahoo. They apologized profusely on behalf of their partners.

To those hoping to escape election blues this weekend by Kickr'ing, please accept my apologies!

At least the weather looks good this weekend!

Kasia

I blame Trump
Shoutout to Herschel, Kasia, and Wilson who helped me out with a bunch of random gear (high vis MTB shoes!) last night.  I don't get to visit them (or even Brooklyn) much anymore so it's a treat when I do because they are such a special shop, so happy they're our shop sponsor.
@David thank you for the sweet note!!! Our pleasure!!

Hey Kissena! Thank you all for your patience. Our UPS driver is on the block with the Kickrs. He is unloading in the next couple hours as he sorts his truck. Safe to swing by after 1pm today (Friday) to pick up your Kickr!

I will spare you all the back story of the biggest freight/shipping debacle I've ever seen.

Kasia
Picked up my Kickr last night! Just a heads up – the box is pretty big and heavy, so unless you have a cargo setup on your bike plan on taking a cab or the train home. If you don't have both hands free, or if your puny cyclist arms can't carry 50lbs up the hill to the F train, plan on taking a cab. Personally, I shouldered the box, ran uphill, jumped a few barriers, took a PBR handup, jumped onto a CitiBike and braaaaped off into the sunset.

Jk I took a cab.

Like @David Yang, I hadn't been to @Redbeard in a minute, so it was nice to see the crew (sans bossman & bosslady). Consulted w/ Wilson about a little rando rack to support my new handlebar bag on my commuter. Added a new adjective to my vocabulary very useful for describing some bikes… just goes to show you that you learn something new every time you go to Redbeard.
Ah dang I forgot to specify that I needed a 10 speed. Before I swap the cassette for mine, just thought I'd double check that I didn't accidentally grab someone else's 11 speed.

Stock Kickr is 11 speed, you'll need to use spacer which comes with the unit.

I guess someone is getting too excited playing with a new toy! I totally relate.
see you guys at the zwift races!  i hope to pick my kickr up this monday or tuesday
You will all have to let me know the schedule for these Zwift encounters....which I'm starting to think is some kind of weird Tinder for cyclists
if anyone still has their kickr box can you measure it for me please? need to know if it will fit in the cart that i have
Brendan I can ask Herschel to measure! (I'm not in the shop...moving week)
60lbs 25x13x22"
Thanks!  I picked it up already and found that a hand truck and an old inner tube work just fine to transport it via subway.

For those who want to know if it will fit in whatever cargo transport device they have...the dimensions are ~12x22x25" and weight printed on shipping label is 57lbs

Hey Kissena! We'd love some Kickr/Kissena pics for social media. If you have a good one, tag us in the photo on IG or email it to me (Kasia@redbeardbikes.com). Thanks!! --KN
Thanks @BenFinoRadin for the Kickr pic :)

So...we have a pretty sweet deal on a very gently used rocketship bike...the Liv Envie Advanced Pro 0 - Dura-Ace Di2, less than 1,000 miles on it, and just tuned by Redbeard.

It's up on the Redbeard website, feel free to share near & far: http://www.redbeardbikes.com/products/envie-advanced-pro-0-m-white-composite-teal

There are a few other good things up in our bike sale including some used superlight Bromptons, and we all know every roadie needs a Brompton for around town!

Would love to find homes for these so if you know someone who is looking, put us in touch!

Also, tell your families, Redbeard does giftcards. It's super easy, they can just call in with a CC and we'll add the $$ to your account here at the shop.

KICKR UPDATE
We have one more Kickr available in case you snoozed on the group order and would like to get one. Call us at 718-858-2453 if you want it!
Kasia
I haven't been active for a few months and hardly ridden my bike :( I want to get started on the ZWIFT and get back to riding for sure but the thing is that I don't have the equipment? whats the things i need to get started on the ZWIFT.

Hey Edgar, wrong thread, let's take it over to the Zwift discussion topic.
Kasia Is there still a Kickr availble and if so am I able to buy so I can use for the Zwift? do I still get the kissena pricing as well? I haven't been active so let me know thanks.
Hi Edgar,

Here is some info about using Zwift with Kickr - I am sure others on the
team have already set theirs up and can give you some advice on it!
http://www.wahoofitness.com/partners/zwift

We have one Kickr trainer left in stock. If you are a paid Kissena member
for 2016, you can still get the team pricing for it ($850+tax, instead of
regular retail $1200). Please let me know right away if you'd like to
reserve it and when you can swing by. We are open Thurs/Fri (10-8) or Sat
(11-3). We're closed Sunday.

Thanks!
Kasia
