Hi all, don't know where to post this - sad to share that Phil Ginsberg was in a bad crash today on the Manhattan Bridge. As far as I know he's at NY Downtown hospital. I will post more details when I get them... Please keep him in your thoughts...
Oh no!
I think @JohnOlsson was with him when it happened
Does anyone want a Large POC Ventral in exchange for a Medium?

I have a new - unused Large but found that the medium, while smaller than my medium Octal, fits me okay. I figured that if someone had a large head like mine and wanted to swap out their Medium for a Large, that we could trade.

If so, let me know.
POC showed a cool new helmet at Euro bike.

Looks sharp! If they make it in orange!

Giant has announced their new "gravel" bike. The Giant Revolt. Some rode this as a prototype at Dirty Kanza.

It is very specific for Gravel (hidden rack mounts, 3 bottle mounts) but I am seriously considering it for CX. 70 mm Bottom Bracket drop y'all!

Also, our deal prices are unbeatable.

How do I convince my wife that adding one of those to our baby registry is perfectly reasonable?
With hidden rack mounts, all you need is a baby seat to comply ... viola!
Also did you see this one, super baby friendly color...

@JohnOlsson include a bike trailer to the registry!
@eloy While th Revolt looks pretty hot and could be used for CX, the Top tube angle is not ideal for shouldering your bike. Still, that may be a small trade off for a jack of all trades bike...
totally designed for shoulders  :p:p:p

Oh my HOTNESS! Frame weight?
Head's up: one pair of Garmin Vector 3s in stock now!
POC announces the new Octal X Spin.

(this should be our 2019 helmet)

Just took a look at the specs.  For the stock 40mm tires, there's 74mm of trail in most sizes.  That's pretty long and slow for a cx bike.  Even with 33mm tires. the trail is still 70mm.  That's a bit on the long side for cx.  A similarly sized Van Dessel has 67mm of trail.

I think the top tube height, more than the shape, will be the issue for shouldering.
