Hot on the heels of our chain wax discussion, Silca now has an endurance additive that can be mixed with their wax.
"EnduranceChip. EnduranceChip is a semi-synthetic wax blend boasting some of the longest molecular chain lengths possible in a wax for ultimate durability. Adding EnduranceChip to SecretBlend can permanent increase the distance between re-waxing by as much as 2.5X (up to 750km) while still being as fast as the top wet lubricants and significantly faster than any dry lubricant."

Mixing this blend in appears to cut the efficiency of their wax while increasing the distance between waxings. 750km (465mi) is pretty good. However, once you add it, you can't get it out--they probably want you to have both a "speedChip" wax crock pot and an "enduranceChip" wax crock pot so you can have race and training blends.
I'd love to know how many applications one gets out of the 500g bag, and then how many more one gets if they melt in the chips.
