Fantasy Cycling

I have a long history of second place finishes in fantasy cycling. I'm the first place loser. Back off!

@Ryan J is Kyle doing ok? I just noticed how his team was doing and was a little worried about him.
Ryan - please convey my thanks to Kyle as well. If it were not for him it is possible I could come in last place.
@alyoshas is dusting me.....i demand a doping test.
I passed the above concerns and thanks onto Kyle, who sent me this excerpt from a recent article on The Pussies turbulent Giro:

"Shortly after the withdrawal of Hesjedal and Wiggins, the Pussies lost their title sponsor, the Livestrong foundation.  We contacted team director Kyle Johnston who stated plainly that the Livestrong board of directors were all 'ass men'.  When asked if the team would compete in the coming Tour de France, Johnston said 'they will probably all be eating each others asses then, so no."
Looks like I'm playing Cuddles to Owens' Uran.
And fantasy bum Atapuma came in with a 9th!  Cav win tomorrow should result in my first place loser triumph.
Ian! No one could close the massive lead he established in his solo break. I was fat Cav closing in the final K, but it was too little too late.

Congrats.  Did he win socks? Free chamois butt'r?

YES? I did not come in last or next to last or even next to next to last. Instead I came in next to next to next to last.

I'd like to thank my sponsors, Craig and Stearnsy and Kyle. Without them, I couldn't be where I am today. Instead, I would be lanterne rouge.

Wait, I could have gone for the fame of being the worst? Damn it, now I am an anonymous finisher...

Next time Pinky, next time, we'll take over the world.

I was doing so well. Nibali, Cav, Uran. All I needed was Gesink/Hesink or whatever he's bloody called to put in a performance and I'd have been sitting pretty above the Jeffs but below the Ian.
I went from hero to zero
from the classics to the Giro.

Here's to better days in the Tour
where my ranking I'll restore.

I am so going to not win this.   And so, I will pepper my roster with has beens and never was's from Euskatel.

The Giro was just a training race for me.  Gives me a chance to get the "yeah, I'm totally gonna haul in a shit-ton of points with David Millar on my squad" outta my system.

I don't peak till July.  See you in Corsica, wheel-suckas!
let's see it happen! don't let me drop you like a bad habit again in any case.
that's a lot of trash talk from the arse-end of the rankings.

this is the defending Vuelta champ you're talking to, brotha!

And I'm the defending Classics champ!
I think I'm going to pick my TDF team to by names that rhyme. My picks are so bad when I think about it....
the tour fantasy games is open!

i created us a league:

League Name: Kissena CC
League Code: 19225724

p.s. ian.  you are not allowed to enter.
I think Ian is still serving a suspension for his assocation with Mr. Santambrogio.
that's right: first place and my team's jersey is yellow.

haters gonna hate the jersey, but this fred's staying at the top.
i joined.  i used the simple strategic random sample technique to build my team.  you are doomed
The Chug-a-lugs will dominate again.

you gotta join the league, rigby.
I used the simple simpsons sample technique and added a dude named "Bert" on my team.

ALL UR YELLOW R BELONG TO YANG.
@Rigby, join the Kissena CC league.
I'm in, with a new, more balanced roster and an even stronger set of corporate evildoer sponsors behind us. Enter Walmart-Haliburton-Goldman Sachs-Chevron

that's just what you think, mark.  i'm in a league of my own.  i don't need yours to feel good about myself  *sobs in corner*
This is great!  Pro cyclists are now campaigning for fantasy team slots:

“Why should people select me in their Fantasy Tour Team? I think you can always score a good deal of points in the classification and as I’m shooting for a top ten spot, that may be as good a reason as any. On top of that, I’m relatively quick in the uphill sprint so that should deliver some extra points.”

I'm in!
