You didn't pick Rolland did you?
Jun 25, 2013 at 03:18 AM
Note. Volkler...
Jun 25, 2013 at 12:21 PM
I'm going to shut my eyes and pick this year. Guessing I'll do better than the Giro.
Jun 25, 2013 at 12:43 PM
I picked Rolland, because he's got mad dope skillz.
Jun 25, 2013 at 01:21 PM
Apparently Rolland is 6 feet tall and 157 lbs. That's pretty big for a guy who climbs like he does!
Jun 25, 2013 at 02:01 PM
you could say the same about ryder hesjedal or robert gesink although gesink in a bit linkier (and his performances have been a bit a of a polemic)
Jun 25, 2013 at 02:05 PM
Once again I top loaded with 4 great riders and then sawdust filler components. I have a bunch of second tier frenchman on my team. They better come through for La Centième or I will have them imported to the US as punishment.

Bike Pure - advocacy group promoting clean riding - removes Froome from its list of endorsed riders, for refusing to release power data.
In other news, Bike Pure endorses every member of the Kissena Cycling Club, none of whom have ever been shy about sharing their power data.
Yours truly,
Dave "60 minutes at 230 np" Stearns

Yeah, nice one Froomy. My suspicions redux:
- too thin
- too dominant during the season
- no "bad" day during the TDF

I'm fine with the first two. But #3 is always suspicious. But Froome did have some bad days during last year's Vuelta.
This is why I think Spartacus is only a marginal doper, not to the gills as many others (which of course makes it ok). He fades during the Tour, often losing the second TT, which is normal for a larger rider who also does a ton of work for the team, unlike Tony Martin who will only do late train duties for Cav. And he has bad days.
Although his power data from 2010 Flanders is pretty incredible!
I'm guessing the 1450 was when when he dropped Boonen on the Muur after what, 6 hours of racing? WTF.

- Average cadence 73 rpm
- Max cadence 147 rpm
- Average speed 40 kph
- Max speed 80 kph
- Total time 6 hrs 22 min
- Total energy 6,459 kJ

I'm noticing from the KCC fantasy entries that @Mark Clifford aka "Wanker Wiggo" is already "wearing" the yellow jersey..
Cheeky monkey.
Jun 25, 2013 at 03:29 PM
^ that's right. it's a nod to my inner fred as well as a statement of intent.
Jun 27, 2013 at 01:37 PM

Weird, Velogames jersey replaced a bunch of your team jerseys.
I think Stearnsy should get some kind of pun-preme for "LeakyGass". Well done, sir, well done.

i certainly hope ryan has little tommy voeckler on his squad, given his nippletastic choice of jerseys.....
Jun 27, 2013 at 03:03 PM
Anyone NOT taking Froome and van Garderen? I'm thinking about dumping VG and going with something more risky.
Another big choice, Sagan or Cav? Same point cost, but I count more stages in Cav's favor.

Wow, "Brendan Picked at Random" was sure lucky to get Sagan and Froome!
Jun 29, 2013 at 05:00 PM
Godverdomme! My precious Bert didn't even start!
Jun 29, 2013 at 05:54 PM
i picked the bus driver. i won!
Jun 29, 2013 at 10:23 PM
Who's the sweatybastards? You picked DAVID MILLAR *and* he came through for you! If he does nothing the rest of the race, he's contributed more than I already though he would. Thumbs up.
Anyone take Martin? Oops.

I doubled on the martins. Well at least this time I picked people in the race. Unlike the Giro.

How did condone end up at the bottom? Mueller killing it. Kristoff. A page out of condons book...
Jun 30, 2013 at 03:26 AM
Handsome Joe's team is not only killing it - he also left 1/4 of his budget on the table. 100? I don't need no stinkin' 100......
