I am no longer regretting picking Ben O’Connor. What a ride and what a gap! If remains as strong as he was today he could win the Vuelta, but that’s a big task for the next 2+ weeks for him and his team

I picked some obvious but good riders so far! Pacher, skjelmose, vlasov, and soler all pulling their weight. 

Those are good picks, but there were so many “obvious” picks who have dropped out or underperformed. You’ve picked well and I am starting to have to look over my shoulder 

haha was fun to follow -- my GC picks turned out to be solid, but non gc picks seriously disastrous.

A bit interesting was to notice Carapaz's approach to GC, which was a million percent the same that Uran's in the past "ride wheels and follow and get what you get" I am not diminishing the effort which was monumental, but wondering if this approach has more to do with EF strategy than anything else.

Similarly, wondering what could have been if Uran had not crashed, as I'm guessing, that as long as they like each other, Uran would have enjoyed working for Carapaz.
