@Whitey, considering I'm not upgrading to a 4 anytime soon, feel free to borrow my chainring, or hell, my entire bike. I believe it's a 50x15 with a 165 crank.
Omniums use a curious width chainring bolt not shared with many others.Jeffrey White said:@kieran - As a bit of a neophyte in the world of allen-wrench gear shifting, I think I'll just rustle up a 50 and a 14. That'll give me the choice of 86.40, 90.00, 92.57, and 96.43.What's so hard about swapping chainrings off an Omnium crank as opposed to others?
Cool video. The derny pulls off at 1.45.Andrew Da Silva said:Sweet birds eye drone footage of the GSVA Cup last week. Kieran 1st, me 3rd.

Also, like Ragot said, he'll have some spare rings, as will I.Jeffrey White said:@kieran - As a bit of a neophyte in the world of allen-wrench gear shifting, I think I'll just rustle up a 50 and a 14. I love me a good roller race. While I love a good Friday the 13th as much as anyone, it's also "date night" in these parts. What to do....Andrew Da Silva said:I'll do it. How about Ragot, Aaron, and JP?
If I do it, it would have to be a game-time decision. Too many moving parts for me to know now. Honestly, the idea doesn't thrill me, nor does it turn me off either. I'm likely racing CX that weekend and that will take priority. But if I can do both without disrupting family life too much...Andrew Da Silva said:
Simple, JP - you make the roller racing date night! ;-) Sure Mrs JP will love to watch you on spin dry with a cold one (maybe a Miller Lite...?) in her hand. If that doesn't say "romance" I don't know what does.mugwump said:I love me a good roller race. While I love a good Friday the 13th as much as anyone, it's also "date night" in these parts.
