looks steep

Will they be drug testing?
8000 feet of elevation ain't bad, I fear Black River Road. It's a hell of a climb.
I'm thinking about it.
http://granfondohincapie.com/

George direct messaged us on Twitter expressing his hope some of us can make it down there.

Does he like the new kit?
Now I feel like we have to do it. Hate that the gran fondos are so expensive.
There is some beautiful riding down there. Hilly, and a great time of year for it.
Drug testing?  Gonna have to "taper off".
Man, that's a drive.

If you guys mount up a posse and there's an extra spot, I might do it.
It's tempting.
It IS tempting. Hmmmm
Oh snap. I'm feeling a road trip
I've ridden some those roads - or at least roads very close by.  My son went to camp in Flat Rock/Hendersonville.   Phenomenal.    This might be worth a Harry Bolick check-in - he knows the hills in South Carolina very well.  Wish I could join ya!
I'll go. Love riding and racing there. I'm flying southwest. 50 dollar holler for bikes.
Let's ask George if we can ride out with him and the pros - he can end his career with the same club he started it.

(a girl can dream)
My ticket is booked. Fly down Friday, back Sunday on swa. Who's comin?
I've got some vacation days to burn... so I've been thinking about this one. Anyone else?

Hubbs, did you book a hotel room or are you staying with bros?

re: Hincappie Grand Fondo

Hi ALL,
this is harryB...i am in GreenvilleSC w/family here. i would love to shepherd any ALL Kissena's interested in the Hincapie Grand Fondo. i will be here i know the rides they are ... just shy of epic is super beautiful!

note: entry fee is high @$140 but does include sag/post ride party &jersey.

typically, i travel via Jet Blue into Charlotte Douglas Airport(CLT) (bike bag travels for either free or max$50 each way and fare are typically @ $64-130 each way. i(today jetBlue  is $169 round trip) it is a pain to get from CLT to GreenvilleSC, as there is no reasonable bus/taxi/train, so, family picks me up...i would be happy to ferry up to CLT &pick-up folks as they arrive; could carry maybe (3-4+bikes). a good alternate is SouthWest Air direct into Greenville-Spartanburg Airport(GSP). i believe they may be waiving bike bag fee for this event?!

Di Let me know.
