BTW, it has a 46 tooth rear sprocket that is bigger than the brake rotor. It makes me giggle when I look at it.

I'm looking for some help shopping for gravel bikes.

I love my FTB but it doesn't have bottle cage baze-ons, or clearance for tires any larger than 38.

Thoughts?

Tough Road SLR GX
TCX Advanced SX
Yacks likes em all.  The Any road is the only one with a double front chain ring which I think is good for gravel..

Can't find the specs on how wide a tire they'll accommodate.

these are adventure bikes...I'm sure they left tons o clearance.  Considering we ride these things with plush tires at low psi, I'm not sure a carbon frame is necessary.  Also these things get dropped...and fall over...and go flying into trees, rocks and roots = like all the time for Yacks

This is the one I've had my eye on. Dual wheel choices are the bomb. I'm not super stoked about the frame aesthetics which is why I'm sniffing around for other options.

Well the ADD certainly wins the aesthetics game - I'm not a fan of the look of the tall head tube and sloping top tube of the WTF but it sounds like to get the bigger rubber on the ADD you need to go down to a 27.5" wheel. Maybe that's fine. Perhaps Max can chime in as he rock and rolled his ADD this past cross season.

BTW, what's up with URL for the ADD?

yes...that bikes looks like it can do anything...geared or no...also curious to find out the difference between this and the ADD other than 7000 vs 6000 aluminum...please ask Edwin when u call

The first commute this year with out a jacket was celebrated with my new Schwinn, 
I realized probably the last time i commuted on a fixed wheel was before my son was born , 16 years ago , it was Fun 

Now *that* is a gentlman's bike.

Not a new bike but Redbeard put on new Ultegra and a new set of Giant wheels, so it feels like a new bike. It rides like a dream and I call it CAAD 10.11.1

Not exactly "new" but on a whim I found this beauty on Ebay, in pristine condition, on sale for a song. Used 10 speed bikes are a steal these days. This is the exact make & model of my dearest old race bike, which was murdered by Virgin America while in transit.  Shakedown ride complete, all it needs now is a name sticker.

2. It wishes it were the embroidered version.
3. I've got a perfectly good carbon post from specialized sitting around, but this post weighs the same, and a little polished aluminum stands out in a black ano' world.
