AG2R Citron to race Strade Bianche in denim bib shorts roadcc
Chiapucci's 90s Carrera Kit was the OG with pockets.

I'm at the point where I am contemplating a bike computer with a bigger font (old man shakes fist).
Contacts?
It was horrible the first time. Why, why why?

You know that deli sandwich you didn't finish from the weekend and it's now the next Friday and you don't want to make lunch and you take a nibble and it's just so bad but then you're like eh what are you gonna do?

That's oddly specific...
The first time, when Carrera went from blue shorts to jorts, I totally respected the commitment to the sponsor.  And I warmed to the Carrera acid-washed bottoms when I realized they actually had working pockets.  I started to think it would be hilarious to have a pair.  But, then, when the extent of their doping program became known, I associated the pockets with doping.

Honestly though, jort bibs with working pockets sounds like the spirit of gravel. Cut off sleeveless checked flannel shirt and mullet to taste. Duff beer handlebar holder optional.
New Bibs Day.
Champ-Sys tech shorts with new gripper band and new chamois.

Those resemble the pre-gray chamois.

It feels a bit better, at least from the touch of pulling it out of the packaging.
The old red chamois used to bunch up under the stitching in the wash even on the most gentle of cycles. The bad old days.

Rode 100k in these today.

I'm happy to report my undercarriage deems the new Red chamois much better than the previous Grey.  The top is softer and the padding is more varied.  It didn't bunch up on the ride at all.  It has survived three washings before this ride.
I ordered the ChampSys euro cap expecting the kind of thing Primoz is wearing here, but ended up with something a little more baseball looking, see other photo. Did I order the wrong model?

It takes many many years and many many miles to wear a cycling cap correctly. You ordered the right cap. All cycling caps are the right cap. Keep going, and patience, grasshopper. Also, reference Gianni Bugno. Good luck on your cycling cap journey!
I want a small brim! Why can’t I get a small brim Kissena cap!?

There are no shortcuts on your cycling cap journey, David, simply trust you are heading in the right direction. You are.

It will take years, but do the work and it will all makes sense: All cycling caps are the right cap, all cycling cap brims are the right size.

Did you google Gianni Bugno? Hint... is not the cap or brim size that matters.

Easy just grow a giant head.

In general i have avoided ,Champ system , Hats , Gloves & socks
Same here, did not like the champ system caps. I wear a cap every time I ride and have quite a few brands and can say the rapha ones really are best (just not the colors that are $35)  https://www.rapha.cc/us/en_US/shop/rapha-cap-ii/product/RCP10XXILW
I too wear a cap under my helmet basically always -- it has to be approaching 95°F or more for me to don't wear one.

My favorite hat is champion sys "Performance" hat which is made of the same fabric than their jerseys (i.e. not cotton) and is super breathable. Simply, I love them, and have easily over a dozen of the Champ Sys. By far my fave. I also have tons other brands/types, so easy for me to compare. Champ Sys wins.

Pretty obvious, from the other's notes above, your mileage will vary.

I have this cap , that is old , I don’t wear it
needs a wash but will gladly give away

You need to wear those bottom left glasses more often.
My Pink Rhino hat is a little bigger than I’d like but still better than the champ sys Kissena hat
The smaller brim look you're going for I think comes from styling and wearing it very "jauntily". I've got a lot of caps like Eloy and the brims are all pretty much the same size.

I would gladly take this off your hands
@Eloy is the goat of Kissena fashion. Come at me.
