Got a question for the more experienced Wahoo Kickr-Wahoo Elemnt users among us:
How do you find the feature where you use a downloaded route to virtually ride?
For those who haven't experienced it, there's a feature on the Elemnt Bolt where, after you've linked the Kickr to the Bolt, you have a choice of modes to toggle through. One is where the Bolt will load a ride you have already downloaded and create it virtually--like riding Prospect or Central Parks. The wone I did was a route I have from Manhattan to Yonkers which has a bunch of steep hills.
I found that the downhills and uphills didn't always seem to align. Like I'd virtually ride over a steep hill, without it feeling hard, and then on the steepish, like 8-10% descent that the resistance would ramp up at the start of the descent.
anyone have this experience? know why?
