Jules,

Sorry to cross-thread like this, but it sounds like the club's track day on May 5 will be the perfect place to vent all your pent-up rage built up in regards to the latest kit order. Sure we'll have a loaner bike in your size. What do you say?

Also, any news on the KCC cell phone cover I ordered..?

Yours in track rage,

Kieran
I'll be there... Maybe Mattie will loan me that badass giro helmet :p
Excellent! Glad to hear it. I'll make sure we put plenty of standing starts on the schedule - the perfect drill to work out some anger ;-) I'm currently doing battle with NYC Parks Dept permit process for the event so I'm sure I'll have my own tales of woe to share by then ;-)
Fedex is currently showing an arrival date of Friday; if it arrives as expected hopefully I'll be able to get the kit to Ride Brooklyn for pickup same day.

Please check this thread for updates - I'll post here after I've dropped off at Ride Brooklyn.

Awesome.
Air-Pro Jersey's will not be included in this order.

Champion Systems originally told us we would not need a special proof for them - then at the last minute they created their own "special" proof including two different oranges and a last year's sponsor logos.

This aggression did not stand, man.

this is timely! my one pair of shorts is sprouting a hole.  and the chamois has detached, introducing unlimited degrees of float and the disconcerting sensation that my seat is moving from side to side when i pedal.

THANK YOU JULES ET AL FOR MAKING THE MAGIC POSSIBLE!
@Jules - Dag, man, dag.
Champion Systems: the magical place where even the colorblind are free to work as graphic designers.

In four years of ordering kit I've had one order that went perfectly (and that was the last one).

I appreciate the efforts of all of those involved in managing our relationship with Champ Sys I know I couldn't do it (at least not in this state with such stringent gun control, if we were an Arizona based club, maybe I could get their attention) and I'm pleased to see that the fit and quality of the kit has improved over time.

@Ian the next update to the CS store is the ability for us too limit what items are for sale - to ONLY items that we have approved proofs for. This error at least, shouldn't be repeated.

(No telling about the winter jackets with 22" collars though)
Rooting for FedEx to show in time for a stop at Ride before departure to Battenkill!
FedEd and Champion System came through.  Packages arrived!  I'll put a notice here when the kit is dropped off at Ride Brooklyn.

Three weeks from closing the order to "kit on the doorstep" is pretty damn good, especially this time of year.

Big props to Charlie & CS 2013 !

Yes, I have to admit, that is pretty unprecedented.

I'm gonna be a real Kissena Member!

I echo David's enthusiasm...can't wait to ride in kit tomorrow! Thanks for making this happen!
Kit is at Ride Brooklyn, Bergen St location.

KIssena Cycling Club is NOT responsible for kit left more than 30 days.

Please sign for your kit when you pick it up.
YAY JULES!
Aaaand it looks like they corrected the Air-Pro jersey's in time for this order too.

D minus for communication, A for delivery
I'm a real team member!  And these razor edge shorts move me alarmingly close to appearing to be a real cyclist as well!  The leg hair issue persists.

But it's raining outside and I don't want to tarnish my new kit.  Is it weird that I'm sitting at my computer in the new digs?  I even have the socks on...
These socks are like clouds for my feet.

Stand in front of the mirror, hunch over in your best in-the-drops aero pose, and make slobbering sprint faces for 10 seconds.

Make wooshing leg hair noises through your teeth for optimal realism.

Totally pro.

wooshing leg hair noises
i will make this noise the moment i figure out a) what it is b) how to recreate it without autotune. and not a second later
Whenever I try on a jersey, I reach for my air drops.  When I get new cothes, I often first test ride them in front of hte computer.
Barely made it out of the office and actually ran...RAN...from the Pacific st subway to RB and just made it with 3 minutes before closing. It was in the cards since my package was sitting right at top of the first box we opened.

Picked up some nice french wines at Sip and now waiting for sushi takeout. Can't wait to get home and eat dinner in my kit while the wife looks at me like I'm the one who is crazy. Pft.
I'm so so glad to have tried on the sizes at RB before ordering.  Everything fits perfectly.  Quality is very high, even the basic jersey.  The razor bib shorts are especially nice as well.

Thanks again for coordinating everything, Jules!

Bonus points: Got my Velo Ink stickers the other night!

Dumb move: Totally blanked and forgot to get socks when ordering.
