Team Kit Order

@Jules (or whoever becomes King of Kit), a bargaining chip for your next interaction w/ Champ Sys: the 2" cuff socks don't seem to adhere to the proof.  order sheet says they used 4" Cuff proof.

Proof shows that left sock is not identical to right, but is a mirror image: KCC logo should face outward on both socks.  But both pairs I received (yes, I said both pairs.  That's right, I splurged and bought two pairs of socks.  YOLO.) have the Champ-Sys logo facing right, and the KCC logo facing left when on the foot.  I received four left socks.  That ain't right.
@ Brendan

If you ordered ANY socks that weren't 4" cuffs you ordered off the approved proof list so you get what you deserved.

Sorry dude, that's a known issue.
On the subject of "Kit" in general:

This is kit for an Amateur Cycling Club, not the GAP.  This isn't retail clothing and you should set your expectations accordingly.

:( sorry, i thought i was being helpful
If you find a problem with kit that was on the "approved proofs" list please post it.

If you have a new herd of leftie socks you will fit right in with everyone who got the same on the last 2 orders when we let CS "do their best"

The good news is the socks - like most kit - won't last much more than a season of heavy use.
The razor bibs and pro aero jersey seem fantastic. I haven't tried them on the road yet but they fit and look great.

I also ordered an extra small wind vest and (finally) I've got wind gear that fits! Although the collar is a little strangely high - but I can live with that.

And I got the "race glove" - digging that a lot too.

fleece bib shorts - nice
fleece winter jersey - nice
wind vest - nice (the zipper does not snag) (Ryan got an XS?! no wonder I don't get any draft off of him)
fleece leg warmers - missing with red line on packing slip ?!? to be explained . . .

Extra small?
Went for a ride this afternoon with the new kit.  I didn't recognize my reflection in the windows.  Fleece bib knickers and the fleece long sleeve jersey - this stuff looks good.  This stuff makes me look good.  Thanks, Jules.
I've got lots of old-style Kissena socks sitting here.  Seems like Smalls and XL's on the 2" cuff and lots of larges on the 1" cuff.  Gotta go through to get a full inventory, but I can bring them out if people are buying.

$3/pair.
Some people have reported missing items from their bags.  In some cases these were the bootleg proofs (Hubbs!) and you'll get a cheque for those items.

Champion System has also notified me that they pulled about two dozen items for Quality Control reasons.  I'll post again when I have a confirmed shipping date for those.
I too am missing a pair of fleece leg warmers, from the order (and I didn't do any bootleg ordering, I made sure to select the right fleece legwarmer from the 4 warmer dropdowns available)  I am hoping that the weather continues to hold I will not need these until sometime in the middle of CX season.
I suspect that if they detected problems with quality, we are better off waiting.
Thanks for following up Jules.

Is there an alternative?  :)
WTB right socks

@Jules

I didn't notice that only 4" cuff socks are officially supported. I trust there will be a 2" option sanctioned at some point ? I really don't want my cycling fashion dictated by Tommy Vockler.

isn't the UCI dictating/regulating cycling fashion?

Socks (and shoe covers) used in competition must not exceed the mid-distance between the ankle and the knee

Tommy "the Tongue" Vockler may be a proponent of longer socks, but there is a limit that the UCI is regulating.
@ Ian I think the dictator is father time - there is only so much.  We'll get to the various flavors of socks eventually.

will a clothing order window be open soon?
@mike
We are still trying to sort out the fall-out from the previous order, which just arrived last Friday.
This may take a little while. . .
But there is a chance that some people got wrong sized clothing and their mistakes may give you a chance (mine all fit just fine). You should probably watch this thread.

picked up my kit today.  mucho pumped about

thank you, jules!  your huge efforts are greatly appreciated

@everyone . . . buy Jules a beer

fyi: like Reiners, my fleece leg warmers are also missing.  no foul play is suspected.
Older sock inventory taken:
2" Cuff: 13 small, 1 medium 0 large, 3 xl

1" Cuff: 3 small, 15 medium, 12 large, 7 xl

everyone needs socks.
Great job Jules! All that hard work is very much appreciated. Picked mine up tonight (and drooled over a Giant at the front a bit).

It's possible that my stuff from last year is a bit sun bleached and washed a bunch but I think the new stuff has richer colors and crisper printing. I like it.

The orange is more orange!
I believe the new kit causes the sun to shine a little brighter.
That jersey has a cannondale logo on it, the K50 jersey I got just before xmas, did not have the logo. When and why did the change happen ?

It happened because Cannondale is now a sponsor.

When the jersey you got before Christmas was run, Cannondale was not yet a sponsor.

Don't worry; next version won't have any logos at all
