Thanks Jules, I already put in an order last night for everything else, but will open another one for gloves and tights (the order form only lists "knickers" but the design comps show tights...).
I gotta disagree with Marc. I LOVE my champion system fleece knickers. They are SO comfortable and their quality is almost Rapha-esque. And I dare say I look good in them ;-)
I agree with Patrick's right to disagree! We'll schedule fashion show, photo shoot and throw-down at Providence before, during and after the Providence CX weekend for all of your viewing pleasures.
I love the knickers and wear them a ton for CX and cold riding, but I've often found myself (early and late season) not wanting to cover my knees, but still have warm junk. That's why I'm ordering some fleece shorts.
@Jfogden Dude! the order closed yesterday. It is locked in and at the factory now. The date is in this thread and in the email sent to you on Aug 5th and there had been a banner up on the forum for two weeks now...
The Champion System Elves have done their thing and your sweet, sweet gear is waiting for you pick it up and Rock it Like a Boss.
Head on over to the Bergen Street Ride Brooklyn and collect your Satchel of Style, your Bag of Boss, your... you get the idea...
Remember, Kissena is not responsible for kit left at Ride Brooklyn for more than 30 days after delivery - that means that you have until October 10th 2013 to pick up your kit. After that neither Kissena nor Ride Brooklyn can be responsible for kit that goes missing.
If you have any issues with your order contact Champion Systems directly at 718-383-8855
The next clothing order will be in the Spring of 2014.
Hey, anyone already planning on visiting Ride Brooklyn in the next couple of weeks and is also already going to Gloucester CX want to pick up my clothing order? Would be much appreciated!
If anyone who lives up near Washington Heights or Harlem wants me to get their kit and keep it in my apartment at W 181st St for easier pickup, let me know. I'll likely go to Ride tomorrow or later this week. Msg me on the forum or email, rigby.b@gmail.com.
I picked up and rode in my new kit today. Sweet jeebus what a relief it is to get out of that old, ratty kit i was washing after every ride. I'll be riding fast and fresh into the off-season. Thanks Jules, for the prompt and efficient delivery.
I've tried to explain -- very awkwardly -- how I like how racing kit secures around me and squeezes me. It always kind of ends up being crickets for a bit, followed by me firmly changing the subject. I figured the people just didn't get it because they weren't cycling people. But ... maybe I'm legitimately weird about that. Could it be that I'm finally losing grip on what is and what isn't "a cycling thing"?
