Team Kit Order

Hi All,
Clothing order day is finally here. What is the KCC login information for the Champ Systems website?
Are we supposed to login under Clothing Manager or CS Direct Customer?  My login and password were automatically set in the Clothing Manager login and I see my previous orders, so I'm assuming it's just an incorrect naming convention on the front end, but want to make sure, as I think the Team doesn't all want Size L jerseys. . .

I would wait for Jeff White to post specific directions before doing anything.
The Online Store is CS's Achilles' Heel.  Please wait for instructions before ordering.
STORE IS OPEN!

The store will remain open until midnight on Friday, Feb. 14. There will be another order in March, so fear not.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY:

1. Go to http://custom.champ-sys.com/Login/en-US/Default.aspx

2. Enter your existing Champ-Sys email and password under "CS Direct Member Login." If you don't have one yet, enter the following temporary username and password (case sensitive):
   a. Username: Kissena
   b. Password: Boitano14
   c. You will be prompted to create your own new login and password. Do so.

3. Under "Kissena Cycling Store" click on "Order Now" for the "Feb2014" order.

4. Order away.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTES:

THE STORE IS WEIRD. You will notice that there are three "Tights and Knickers" proof pictures, three "Caps" proof pictures, and two "Socks" proof pictures. When you click on the Order button below each one, you are presented with order options. However, you can only actually order the items depicted in the proof (most of the time). So if you click on the Order button under the Euro Winter Cap proof (labeled only as "Caps"), you can only select that radio button to order, though you'll see radio buttons for the other two caps. If you select one of the others you'll see a pop-up ...

IF YOU CLICK ON A RADIO BUTTON AND SEE THIS:

CLICK "Cancel." THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE. That item is in another proof. So for example if you click on the Euro Winter Cap order button, then select the CS Tech cap radio button, you'll get that message box. Cancel out, and try the other "Caps" proof.

Here's a cheat sheet for which proof picture allows which options:
   a. The first and second "Tights and Knickers" options are for CS Tech Fleece Bib Knickers and CS Tech Fleece Bib Tights only. The third "Tights and Knickers" option is for CS Neoprene TechFleece Bib Tights only.
   b. The first "Caps" option is Euro Winter caps. The second "Caps" option is Euro Cycling caps only. The third "Caps" option is CS Tech caps.

Shop carefully - there are plenty of options like exposed vs hidden zippers on the wind vests, and two lengths for Razor shorts.

If you have any problems call Customer Support at (718) 383-8855

Let the chamois wars begin.
I want this thread to be extremely utilitarian and specifically about ordering clothing from the store. If you have comments or questions about ordering kit, this is the place to gather those.

Please make specific kit critiques on the Kit Connoisseurs thread.

Thanks!
Mr. White, the image in your post above that shows me when to hit cancel is not showing up for me right now.
@Brendan: It looks like this. Click to view the whole image.
Whitey,
What about the Short Sleeve Summer Race Suit? Mesh top, mesh leg panels, two pockets?  We had them on the menu last year.  Got one then, would love a second one.  Not quite as burn through as Froome's, but light, cool, and fast.  I need me some of them marginal gains.

"Race" suits are the new black; we're hoping to get that new proof ready this week.

The old design has been deprecated.
Yes, we're hoping to have the new skinsuit into the store by the end of this order. Worst case, the new skinsuit will be in the order that opens March 8.

See the calendar for the whole year's tentative kit order dates if you're a real planner.
Not necessarily now, but any chance we can get the zip up cyclocross tights added for future orders?
@JimThose things are badass. I obviously can't promise anything, but it would be cool to have those for CX season.
When should we expect to receive this order? I'm just wondering if it's worthwhile to get any cold weather stuff for the early spring races.
@vlad: Conservatively, we should get shipment by March 14. I'm hoping for earlier, though. As we hone in on a date, I'll post new info here.

not too clutter this too much, but this is what I've been racing in the last 3 seasons and can't say enough good things about it. have to be a little nicer when pinning, but the small pockets means you can even road race/train in them.
Champ-Sys doesn't make 'em anymore. Replaced by the Apex Race Suit, for which there is no template yet. It is very unlikely at this point that it will be included in this round.
ordered.  do the kits actually ship to my home?  that would be so boss

Really?  Then they have this up for no reason?

@Wump, that's a Race suit; different template.  Champsys often has out of date proofs online which is one of our big challenges.

@Wes, there is plenty of work to go around.  If you think you know something we don't, feel free to contact @Jeff directly and help out.  Jeff, myself, Charlie, Chris and Ross have spent close to a dozen hours ON THIS SKINSUIT ALONE this year.

Mattie, I have a size medium blue belly version of this you are welcome to buy (tags still on) please use it for training rather than racing though.
I ordered a kit, which in hindsight was a poor allocation of resources. I'll hardly ever wear it as I will be wearing the green jersey kit for the entire L&C series. I should have put my cash towards something I could really use, like a bigger trophy case. (Vlad your moment in the sun is over and the trash talking crown is back where it belongs!)
U23 racers get a free kit per year, yes. Contact me off-list with your size to order one.
Is the tech fleece lite jersey available for order ? I was thinking this might be the best weight for early season races. I assume it uses the same proof as the tech fleece, but I have an inherent distrust of the CS website, so thought I better ask first.
@Ian - Yes, the CS Tech Fleece Lite Jersey is indeed available to order. It's behind the Cycling Jerseys proof.

FYI, if you are able to select an item without the dreaded "The product you selected will require a new proof ..." pop-up, you can buy it without worry.
Do we know anyone at Champion Systems that we can perhaps do some barter work for fixing that web experience?  A person should be able to spend their money WAY faster than it takes to make it.

In all seriousness, we should find a way to help Champion Systems to fix that.

Peter,

Charlie I from Kissena has had an earful from us on the topic.  It's a "next level" painful experience, but  it seems like the development is out of mainland China (where it is owned?) and there is not an appetite for significant change.

That said, they are more than competitive on a number of other dimensions.

This seems to sum it up.

In case people are curious, the current list of folks we all know & race with/against who work at the Brooklyn Champsys office are:

Charlie I
Brian Breech
Alan Carr
Chris Young

(so feel free to pick any one of their brains when you next run into them)

I think you can add Wes Tillman & Aaron Blum to that list.
