Lots of cops EVERYWHERE today. 5 of them on the NY side of the GWB just hanging out. 3 cars hanging out on the new Jersey side of the GWB. One cop car on that nice stretch of road where I'm always trying to get people to work on their sprints.

IL PIRATA CLUB RIDE
The Rapha Cycle Club New York City will be hosting a special edition Pantani club ride on Saturday, May 10th. Join Rapha at 8.30am for a hilly ride in memory of Il Pirata, where we will be awarding a Pantani bandana to rider with the most panache. Not sure if there is a longer ride heading out on Sunday but If your not doing bear mnt and want to go quite long I'll be heading out, say BB at 9..

- I'm totally up for "quite long." I know both of JP's main secret inland
Jersey rides quite well (either 3.5 or 4 hours GWB to GWB), plus there's
the classic "Apple Orchard" ride (similar time frame). And if you are
in for something epic, I've got a great ride that's even longer, has
more climbing. It's kind of, literally an all-day thing though.
- But...our fitness/engine size gap may be too big for what you want to get done.
