Group Ride (Sat & Sun)

I'm going out on the CX bike in maybe 1 hour?  Will be riding down the West Side Bike Path over to Central Park via 96th street or so.  Going to try to avoid my normal route of taking the roads through the city.  Also, I might not make it to Central Park.  I have no idea what's out there... Headed out there at about 1:30 on 1/2 fat mountain bike.
Neil - I'm going to try to be out there around the same time. I'll look for you around gap
You guys are talking about PP not CP, right?
Yep - PP for me.

Me too. PP.. 1:45
1:45 works for me. Meet you then at gap.
Running behind. Catch you at gap closer to 2.
Shoot. Sorry. Got caught with something at home headed now. Will be there 2:23. All black stuff on on black bike. I find it slimming.
First time in memory I was the only bike I saw in CP
@Adam Fabian - Glad I ran into you guys.  That was a lot of fun. Thanks.
Does anyone have intel on the Superbowl ride Sunday?

I'll be out this Sunday at the GWB.

Going to rockland lake and back. maybe a bit more.

considering the projected temps, figure that steady riding is smart.
I'll be on my rollers near the roaring fire hoping the forty knot winds
subside

JP -- I'll probably join you tomorrow.

I'll also be there tomorrow.

I'll wait to watch the men's CX worlds later in the day.
I want to join tomorrow. Hope to see you guys at gwb. I have to do some tempo on the way home btw about 30 mins.
I'm planning to be there. I'm going to cut out to Hillsdale, NJ on the way back. JP, may need your navigation assistance. Anyone else meeting at BB at 8?
I'm in Manhattan so will either meet you all on the westside along the way or at the GWB.
That was hard riding today! I lost touch with the group when I was doing my interval. What way did you guys go? Lots of fun out there. Good seeing everyone today. Was good weather too.
Lots of fun today.  Very cold first thing but as the morning wore on it actually became quite pleasant.

Was great to see JP, Craig, Jeff, Andy D.S., Patrick and Marc.

N.B. Craig was looking very strong indeed.  I guess that's what 19-hour trainer weeks buy you!

Craig, we turned off of 9W just before the shoulder disappeared. I think we were all torqued a little from trying to keep up with you and the "back roads" home gave us a chance to lick our wounds.

It was a good ride. Traditional Sunday route with the the Rockland Lake "extension." We saw Bruce heading out over the GWB when we were finishing up. Weather warmed up to around 32 degrees by mid-ride.
I got a later start, hoping the difference between 26 in the early am, and 31 at 10:30, was enough to keep my fingers from freezing.  Chemical hand warmers actually work and kept my hands from becoming blocks of ice.  It was good to see you guys coming over the GWB.  What a joy to actually be outside on roads, and always nice to see team kit, especially when no one else is out.
Planning to be at GWB at 9am tomorrow (Sat.).

Cheers,

Tomorrow violates my 30-degree rule, but Sunday is looking promising.

Jake, while Sunday 9am is the traditional KCC group ride, Saturday tends to be more of a "Choose Your Own Adventure" kind of day. More variability with departure times and routes. Not to say you won't see KCC jerseys rolling up and ready to ride, but, just want to give you a heads-up in case it feels like a ghost town.

I'm riding tomorrow, but have to coordinate with the family before I commit to a time. I might, for example be looking at a 11am departure time. I'll post here later tonight if I firm things up to let you know whether to expect me at 9am.
Hi Jake-
I'll be at GWB on the NJ side of the bridge at 9am tomorrow. You'll see the Kissena jersey. I'm planning on going into NJ for 5 hrs around 200 watts avg and some hills. Feel free to join for some or all of the ride. Not sure who else will be there but I'll def be there at 9.

Also do you know Ryan Pinkham on Zipcar?
